If she wanted to be successful , the lioness would have to take a small but good kill. Well the only thing was a baby animal of some sort. Her eyes locked onto a baby gazelle who wondered away from the others and that was an easy catch. Maya crouched down before dashing after the small critter, leaping up and pinning it down. She immediately bit and swiped at the kill zones before dragging it back once it was killed. She returned to her mate and set the baby gazelle beside him. "Sorry Mattie, this was the best I could get if I didn't want to be caught." Maya spoke to her mate before she laid down beside him. She was on the other side of where their adopted cub was at.

Luxas gave her another lick on the cheek before he nuzzled the female cub with a small laugh. "I'm glad I meet you Maza, you're the best friend I could ever have."

Maza smiled and nuzzled him back.

"It's okay, It should be plenty" Matt said keeping his ears active to listen for his brother.

Toru sat a little bit away from them keeping an eye out.

Anguka nodded as Zeek spoke, "I can see why, there's nothing to do out here," the lioness sighed. "Zeek," She repeated, familiarizing herself with the name, "That sounds nice," she had to admit, this lion was quite handsome.
