The male reached the border in a few minutes before he started to roam around a bit. His hazel eyes took in all the sights to see and Mousepaw was amazed. He hasn't been this far away from camp, he just hoped he can get back.

Brownie padded towards a tall tree. She gripped onto it with her sharp claws. The kittypet didn't know why she was climbing it but it just felt natural. Brownie slowly climbed up the tree.

Mousepaw heard something before looking up at a tree near by seeing a cat climb up. It had to be a kittypet. "Hey, what's your name miss?" The apprentice called out to Brownie when he decided to pad over.

Brownie sat down on a branch. "It's Brownie, what's yours?" The kittypet answered. A wild cat.. A real wild cat. She thought.

"Well that makes my job a lot easier." Jadeheart purred. "Then I'll just have to teach you the medicine code and everything you will need to know about Starclan." She said. She gave a nod to Mousepaw when he left. "We should probably start with the medicine cat code first, what do you think?"

"Like my opinion about it or me explaining it?" Icetooth replied. If he had to explain it, he only knew one of the laws, opinion, he would explain that law he knew and his opinion about it.

"They call me Mousepaw. Why are you this close to the border eh? You know that us wild cats aren't so friendly with strangers." He then asked before following lead in climbing the tree. The apprentice was having a bit of a hard time but he didn't want to seem weak in front of a female.

"Well, what do you know about the medicine cat code so far? And I'd be delighted to hear your opinion on it. " Jadeheart said.

"All I know is just that we can't have mates. It applied to both genders despite I'm not really for it with it applying for the male gender. I mean, we are males. We can't get pregnant at all so not having to rest and stuff like what she cats have to do won't effect us. Even if us males become a father, we can work in the day and come see our kits for a hour or so in the night." Icetooth meowed hoping his mentor wouldn't scream at him.

"Yes, I know that." Brownie replied, climbing high. "And the only reason was to be free." The cat sat down, looking below herself.

"Free? Isn't your kittypet life better? I mean you feel loved and you get warm stuff and are fed everyday. You don't get those things out here in the wild." He replied still climbing after her. Mousepaw always saw those things in being a house cat. He never favored the idea of being one but he was sure one time he thought about it.
