Rivermist smiled again. She slowly moved so that she was behind him. "Too late." She said, pushing him into the shallow part of the stream.

"ah!" Hawkwing yelled as he tumbled into the water. He researfaced with a look of panick on his face. "Not cool!" He said as he scrambled towards shore.

Rivermist smiled and leaped into the water. She grabbed his shoulders. "Aw is the little dry-paw scared?" She laughed.

"I'm not scared. I just don't like getting my paws wet." Hawkwing said once he gained his footing. He dug his claws into the muddy creek bed:

Falconflight watched the pair silently. When would it be time to express her love for Sunstar? Would he reject her like he did to Redflower? She dipped her head, and sighed.

Rivermist held on to his shoulders so he wouldn't fall. "Don't use your claws." she scolded. "Careful, its unstable here," she warned, feeling the ground shift quickly under her paws.

Sunstar stood and started to slowly pad towards the entrance to camp, feeling like there was nothing more that he could do.

"How do I keep my footing then?" Hawkwing asked seeming quite unsure of how to go about gongs now that he was in the water.

Tripod crouched down in the bushes, his ears pricked. He could here a pair of cats splashing about in the stream but he couldn't tell where they were

Rivermist pulled him gently away from the bank. "By not going back up there. Swimming is like running." she said patiently, pulling him closer as she steered him towards a large, flat rock in the middle of the wide stream.

"I'm not a runner I'm a climber." Hawkwing protested digging his claws deeper into the mud. "Ugh my fur is heavy..."

Rivermist held tighter. "Stop then. Just hold on to me and I'll pull you there." she answered, her patience starting to thin.
