Falconflight stared at Redflower, numb. She could not bear to see her friend so sorrowful, and Sunstar seemed so awkward and embarrassed. She stood at one side, her tail unintentionally flicking to and fro.

"On the ground maybe." Hawkwing said with a smirk, "now where to for your hunting lessons?"

Sunstar glanced over his shoulder, feeling Falconflight's gaze. He turned back to Redflower, brushing his tail over her shoulders.

Rivermist gave a sly smile. "You'll love this." She leaped out of the low branch that she was on and landed running. She ran through the open forest, until she was at where the stream connected to the lake. It was deep there, and she leaped in with a splash.

Hawkwing raced after her but through the tree branches. He kept up with her leap for stride but nearly flew out of the tree when he reache the stream. His nose wrinkled in distaste. He hated water. He carefully climbed down and stood at the edge of the bank. "Swimming?"

Rivermist climbed out of the water, her fur looking like liquid metal. "Its not bad." she laughed, seeing his expression. She shook some of the water out of her fur, making sure she hit Hawking.

Hawkwing jumped back "hey!" He said shaking out his fur, "I-i don't like water" he said

Rivermist laughed. "You wanted to learn!" she sat down, "It isn't very cold at all, unless you go into a deeper part." She said gently.

Hawkwing shook his head, "nah water isn't m thing.." He said sitting down beside her. (Writers block)

Rivermist brushed his back with her wet tail, making sure that his back got wet. "How can it not be your thing? Its impossible to survive without water." She commented, smirking.

Hawkwing stiffened and arched forward trying to avoid her tail with no success, "I just don't like getting my fur wet."
