the heat of the midday's sun scorched wren's bare arms as she made her way down a busy street. a curious furret was perched on her left shoulder, its small head whipping back and forth to glimpse at all the people they passed. wren instinctively reached a hand up to pat her companion on the head in a reassuring manner. in her other hand was a map of the city, lumios city. just arriving from a nearby town, wren was finding it hard to navigate the streets. "well bud, looks like we're lost," she sighed in a defeated tone, collapsing onto a bench. the sudden jarring movement sent finn scurrying around her body until he regained his perch.

"excuse me please. um, excuse me. excuse us, sorry."
the busy streets of lumios city were close to a nightmare to get through for alex. she paused occasionally to check her riolu was still following her; somehow he managed to keep up easily and avoid the people walking in the opposite direction. "you sure you want to walk?" prowl gave her a reassuring smile before continuing on ahead, taking lead; the pair were headed for the park, or at least assumed they were. with a sigh she quickly followed after the riolu scurrying quickly ahead.

"meep, get back here!" jem gave a long sigh as his flaaffy vanished yet again. meep had a terrible habit of wandering off when she saw anything that even slightly perked her interest; this time, it seemed to be an unfortunate girl and her furret. she had jumped up onto the bench they were sitting on and seemed to be trying to poke the pokemon perched on her shoulder. quickly, jem made his way over with hands on hips. "meep, stop bothering people!" he scolded lightly before glancing to the girl. "I'm sorry, I hope she hasn't been bothering you. she can't seem to keep her curiosity on check."

"I know what you mean." She laughed, casting a quick glance at the diggersby. "Lyle can be the same way. He always wants to pick a fight on everything. I swear, he'd battle Arceus if I let him."
"Oh, I'm a cotton ball, am I?" He growled, crossing his arms. "Listen here, rodent. If we weren't in this little cafe then I could take you out in under five minutes. And that, that is a promise."
Curie hissed, tapping Lyle with her tail. "Lyle! Stop it this instant! Miss wouldn't tolerate this behavior." She said, nodding to Riva.

Noele
Igglybuff - Level 5 - Female - tags;;

Just outside of the large Lumios City, little pokemon played in the park. Most of them were occompanied by trainers, and they were having the time of their lives. Noele, however, was alone. The little igglybuff sat atop a swing, frowning as she watched the others play. She wasn't very social. Every time she was approached, by trainer or Pokemon, she shied away.

Oriel
Female - 19 - Folly - tags;; Opal, Paws, Flame

"Hmm.." She frowned, stopping to dig through her bag. She soon pulled out some crumpled bills, and she tempted to flatten them out. "Think this is enough money?" She asked, handing Opal the money.
Folly hopped into Oriel's bag, burrowing down into it. He poked his head out, ears flattened. It was warm in there.

wren was lost in thought when she noticed the weight on the bench shift slightly. her mind returning to the present, she rotated her body slightly and glanced at the space beside her to see that it was no longer vacant. a flaaffy had taken a seat beside her and seemed intrigued by finn. wren's furret let out a squeak of surprise when the flaaffy reached to poke him and dashed over to wren's other shoulder, watching the flaaffy cautiously through strands of wren's hair. wren couldn't help but let out a light laugh, and she removed finn from her shoulder and set him on her lap. turning to the flaaffy, she smiled warmly. "hey-" she was cut off by someone approaching; they appeared to be the owner of the flaaffy. wren immediately stood up, holding finn in her arms. "hey, it's fine. your pokemon was no bother at all. what's her name?" wren asked, assuming the flaaffy was a girl and reaching a hand down for her to sniff.

"Same with Ray...on the way here he tried to battle everyone in sight." Xavier glanced over at Cole, who nodded. "So your interesting in photography? That's super neat"
"Yeah right fluffy butt. You can try to beat me! And you stole the words right out his mouth."
Cole nodded at Xavier and picked Ray down. "Clam down little bit."

for a moment jem didn't reply as he watched her offer his pokemon a hand. then he gave a casual shrug. "her names meep, named so by my little sisters. I swear I'm not just awful at coming up with names," he half-joked with a lazy smile. "what about yours?"
as the girl reached out a hand meep pushed her nose into it as though expecting something to eat, but quickly pulled away when she realised there was nothing and turned her attention back to the furret and reaching out again to prod at it.

"Thank yo-" she started, but was cut off by Lyle. "Diggersby!" He was growling at the raichu, who was growling back. "Ugh, what has gotten into you! Lyle, I really don't want to put you in your pokeball again."
Lyle gritted his teeth, and he slammed one of his ears down on the table, shaking it. "Fluffy butt? You've crossed the line, you little pest!" He shouted, hopping out of the booth. "Let's fight, then. Right here, right now."

beck couldn't help but glance around in every which way as he casually meandered down the street of lumios. he had just arrived here a few minutes ago from santalune and was taken aback at the sheer size of it. even when he was with team flare, he didn't have time for simply strolling about to admire the view; he was always on his feet, going from place to place. now that that whole ordeal was over, beck was relieved to go through life at his own pace, to enjoy it. the tall male paused when a cozy looking cafe came into view. he decided he could use a drink or a snack after the trek from santalune, so he headed inside and grabbed a table. he felt one of the two pokeballs at his side quiver, then smiled a little bit. he changed from a table to a booth, and as he did, the pokeball in question popped open to reveal kreuz, his luxray. the blue and black creature took a seat opposite of beck, glancing around vigilantly as beck waited for one of the waitresses or waiters to take his order.
