Nightpaw flattened his ears, "I know.. It's just what the other apprentices do..." The dark colored Tom said looking at his paws.

"Are you the other apprentices?" Turtle countered, watching him curiously.

"No! I'm the medicine cat apprentice." Nightpaw said defensively letting his fur rise a little. "They're training to be warriors." He explained sitting down

Turtle moved forward and sat down. "What's the difference?" She asked curiously, her yellow eyes gleaming.

"Um well..." Nightpaw said glancing around to see if any of his clan mates were nearby before continuing, "normal apprentices train to be warriors. They help hunt for and defend the clan. I'm the medicine cat apprentice and I'm training to be the.. Healer of sorts." He said looking at her with his vibrant green eyes

Turtle nodded. "So you must be really talented to be a healer then, if all of the others are warriors." she answered.

"I mean I'm skilled with herbs but not with fighting and such." Nightpaw said looking at the ground. "I chose to be a medicine cat, usually were picked at random."

Turtle shrugged. "It still seems like it would be a lot harder. I cut my leg a while ago and it took a long time to heal. I still don't even know if it healed properly." she commented, moving her front left paw.
