Akane's eyes bored into the two ghouls casting over a girl. Obviously the jerk was one for begging and wanting to live. It was pretty amusing to see them wiggle under ylu. Afraid. But this girl must be pretty out of her head to confront a ghoul in such a way. She stopped her walk. She stared for a bit. Not noticing the rain as it pelted onto her pale skin. She silently walked closer, observing if anything, not being hungry anyway. Her blue eyes watched silently. A sotic expression never wavering.

Zero

Zero crossed his arms, contemplating about whether or not he should teach the human a thing or two about asking to be killed. He huffed, crossing his arms stubbornly. "The pretty ones always go to waste don't they?" He mumbled under his breath.

Red looked at Zero, as he talked absently. "Tsk." she huffed rolling her eyes. She pushed past the other ghouls. "Even as ghouls we can feel. Besides lets say you had a best friend, you watched him or her die, you know who killed them. Would you forgive and forget? Tsk. I'd take a bullet for my friends. Can't say the same for 'im so good for all you bow before me' over here." she snickered at Zero. Her eyes flashed daggers at the two. She jogged up to Akira. "Hey." she said looking at the girl. "Sorry about the.. Ahh yea.. Many condolences." she said stairing forward with no expression. She looked over. "Just saying what you did was a dumb thing. But i'm impressed by your strength. But things get better. They do for some atleast. No matter how sad you humans are, you can get better. As for me. I'm stuck in a spirialing hole of regret and depression." she said akwardly.

Zero

Zero glared at the female ghoul and scoffed.
Zero grew up burying his feelings for humans and ghouls alike. It's what lead him to be so carefree and daring. No one sympathized for him when those close to him were ruthlessly murdered by Investigators. Why should he sympathize for them? Being on his own, he vowed not to ever get to close to someone knowing that they may end up dead the next day. Slaughtered by Dovies or cannibalized.
Anger welled up inside Zero, a rare untamable emotion for The Imp as he glanced from the ghoul to the human.
No, it was wrong to feel anything for prey. There were humans with a heart and humans like Dovies. In the ghoul world, there were ghouls like the female ghoul. Sympathizers. And then there were ruthless ghouls like himself. It evened out the playing field.
"If we all break our hearts for humans. We'd be extinct" he muttered darkly, shaking his head in disgust.

It was pretty late evening and Rin was walking down the street around Anteiku.He usually have the morning duty but today one guy switched with him.While he was walking he decided to go inside Anteiku and buy some coffee because he was pretty sleepy.He felt that weird atmosphere around him when he walked inside.He was holding his case with qinque pretty tight to be sure nothing will happen to him.

Akane turned around, her eyes darkened and the red irises glew brightly, "You don't know a d*** thing about this. If humans understood we did this to survive they might not feel a thing. You know i can name more than one human who has done what we do and lived a life. But that doesn't mean we slaughter everyone. There are people like this whom are sypmathetic to ghouls. And people like that are great. Cause they know they do the same thing, so shut your mouth. They slaughter different species to live. Cows, pigs, chickens. They don't understand, because they are AFRAID have you been afraid before?! I know i have. I've cornered and scared myself so much cause i don't want to hurt another and it happens again and again. I never know cause i starve myself till i don't know i'm killing. I never wanted to be this but life isn't fair now is it." she snapped her face growing angryer every second. Her hands cracked, as she popped every knuckle without using her other hand. Her eyes flared as she hissed the venomus words out, tears welling up in the corners.

"Ghouls are like us humans. Fending for their lives.. you from the doves and us from you ghouls... I'm not afraid of you guys because I believe you're not far from human." she said softly and slightly turned her head to see the girl crying. "Hey.. don't worry about it.." she said and smiled lightly through also teary eyes. She reached into her bag and pulled out a small tissue and slowly moved towards the girls eyes and wiped up the girls tears.

Akane looked at the other female. Bowing her head in a small 'thanks' her eyes quickly changed back into the deep azul she had before. She sighed. "I don't know your past. You don't know mine. It's best we keep it that way." she said calmly. Her eyes watched zero and danny with slight irritation but not hate. For they haven't done anything to earn such bold emotions twords herself.
