Goldenheart stayed silent for a while before she nodded "I would like that" she meowed, maybe then she could talk with Jag without having Kiku there listening to her worries

"I coul..." Sage started but the female had already left the den "Well then what can I do" he muttered before he chose to start digging a hole in one side of the den where they would be able to store fresh kill

"Let's head out then. Hey Kiku, watch over the den while we are out." Jag meowed before calling out to his son as he padded out of the den. The bobtail glanced up for grooming his fur. He gave a nod to his father before he resumed grooming his fur.

The female kept hunting only catching one piece of prey after three tries. Egla wouldn't give up and on her fifteenth try, she got all four pieces she wanted. The female carried all of the prey back before entering the den once again. One piece in her mouth, one of her head, and two on her back.

Goldenheart walked beside Jag staying quiet for some time until they had walked quite a bit away from their den "Are you sure that this is a good idea?" she asked Jag lookin down at her paws while still moving forward

Sage heard someone entering and asumed it was Egla "Hey I dug this so we can store out prey" he called to her turning around so he could face her when he saw her catch "Nice going four pieces, that will last to today and tomorrow atleast" he purred

"I'm sure it is. Besides, he's gonna get you ready to become a mother. Give you some practice really." Jag explained before he nuzzled his mate. "It's going to be alright Goldenheart."

Egla gave a purr at the praise she got before padding over and dropping the prey into the hole Sage dug. "I thought of that when I went hunting. Tomorrow we can catch some more prey and slowly build it up."

"Practice? he is almost an adult himself" she replied back turning her head at Jag "What if he isn't like you imagined him to be you would be heart broken" she mewed nuzzeling him "I dont want to see you become heart broken" she added

"Sounds like a plan" Sage purred "Well we should probably eat now while the prey is extra fresh, you can take the first piece afterall you hunted" he meowed and took a few steps back so Egla would get space

"And you're the most gorgeous cat that I know." Firepaw purred back before giving her a lick on the cheek. Now he regretted doing that because he wasn't thinking when he did that action. He would of tried to take it back but he didn't want to hurt Puppypaw.

Puppy paw:
She sat up straight, purring. " Why thank you...." She meowed happily.

Bramblefang entered camp and was almost knocked over by Snowkit. "Careful." He purred. "Wait.. Aren't you suppose to be in the nursery?" He asked.

Snowkit giggled, not answering Bramblefang's question. "Momma!" She squeaked as she danced around Fawn.

Jadepaw stopped at the edge of the lake. "Nobody will ever accept me, Salmonpaw knows that." She said, calling her brother by his old name. How will I tell the clan he drowned? I should have been able to save him if he really had been in that situation. It will make me out to be a failure. she thought, not really sure what she should do. Now I have nobody because he left. she thought as she raked her claws over a tree. "What did I do?" She whispered. "I know I'm not the perfect cat, I'm far from it, but why is everybody leaving me?" She whispered as she curled up in a ball.

Fawn purred in amusement at her kit. " Hello, Snowkit." She purred gently. " you're supposed to be in the nursery..."

Maplekit: she headed out more cautiously than her sister. She looked up at her mother, her light green eyes shimmering.

( Ah... It's coming back to me now! Maple kit has autism...)

"Fine." Snowkit grumbled before bouncing back to the nursery. She stopped in front of the nursery and looked back with a smirk. "If you can catch me!" She squealed as she shot off toward the apprentices' den.

Maple kit: she went over to her father, looking up at him, not saying a word, like usual.

Fawn purred in amusement and chased after her kit. " I'm gonna get you~"
