Stripedpaw looked at Ripplepaw, nodding his head in agreement. The tom stood up and tried his best to keep his balance, not being too tense but not being too light.

Emberfur nodded, standing up ready to show the apprentices some battle moves. "If you're on their back, it's easy to tell when they're about to fall, you can feel their weight shift from under you. So you just jump off, then pin them after then fall." He explained with a soft smile. "We can start with that actually, Ripplepaw, jump on Stripedpaw's back. If he falls, jump off to try to keep your balance then pin him. Stripedpaw, you need to try and keep your balance whilst trying to throw Ripplepaw off so that she falls and you can pin her." he mewed, watching the apprentices carefully. "After that, you can switch positions so you can have a little practice at both."

Then again, the nursery is meant to be for kits and queens. She thought, laying her head down on her paws as she yawned, closing her eyes to possibly take a nap.

"Aww, why can't I be the one to pounce?" Stripedpaw whined, yet still following Emberfur's orders. He stood up straight and kept his paws down on the sturdy ground, focusing on trying not to fall when the time had come.

Shaking her head, SedgeWhisper joined the conversation. "We just had a hunting party up there recently. I say we head farther into the right side forest, there should still be some sparrows around there." she pointed out, flicking her tail.







Looking around, OrchidPaw noticed AutumnKit and BlackKit yelling her name. "Oh, hello you two!" she called out to them, flicking her tail slightly. "What is it?" she asked as they got closer to her.







"She said we could go, since her apprentices are up now." BeechPaw replied, flicking his tiail to the two she cats. After explaining, he prepared to follow his mentor, trying to quickly remember the hunting technique that his mentor had explained to him his first time out.
