Akane walked quietly down the street. The quiet 'pitpat' of feet was all you could hear, she'd been like this for a while. Trying to stay alone to not hurt anyone else, Afraid to hurt anyone else. She shuddered and continued to walk onward, keeping up a relitively fast pace, short breaths escaping her cold parted lips.

Zero glanced at the hospital, making a face. He hated the place. Despite how oddly warm humans got when they were sick, Zero just didn't take a liking to any meal sicker than the common cold. He didn't need to be getting cancer now did he?

Daniel skidded in front of the girl, holding his arms out. "Wa-Wait!" He said in a kind of innocent voice.

She skidded to a halt when he jumped out and she looked at him with frantic eyes then looked at the hospital. "I'm s-sorry.. I c-can't help you right now.. I n-need to get.. to the hospital.. my mother..." she stuttered through wheezing breaths. "Cancer.. she.. h-has.. can-cancer.." she said before running off with teary eyes.

As soon as Zero saw Daniel, he dashed forward into action. He hardly heard anything of what she had stammered before he completely bear hugged her from behind- his arms wrapping around her torso. "What's the rush m'lady?" He asked sweetly, his feet digging into the ground to stop their inertia.

Her eyes widened and she stood still but she wasn't afraid. "Get.. the hell away from me!" She snapped and took her fist and hit him hard on the nose and pried herself out of his arms. She finally reached the hospital and entered the doors with a frantic look on her face. The nurses declined her entry and told her something that made her heart almost stop. Her mother had passed away only minutes ago. She shook her head and ran out of the hospital sobbing and cursing. "**** ****!!!!" She yelled and dug her nails into her scalp. She leaned against the side of the hospital and sat down.
