what albums/songs are your favorite and why?: OH man so many! my all time favourite song is bang the doldrums, but nobody puts baby in the corner, i've got all this ringing in my ears and none on my fingers, and miss missing you are all honorable mentions.
any song off of infinity on high is my jam, but all the albums are great! i liked the new album a good bit, unlike some.
what is your favorite thing about fall out boy?: well, i love all the members to death. their commentary and jokes and whatnot never fails to cheer me up. (joe is my fave btw) and of course, their music is splendid, they are certainly my favourite band.
how/why did you get into fall out boy?: i heard thanks for the memories in an edgy youtube animation a looong time ago. i listened for it on the radio and liked the song, but never knew the band. recently, when save rock and roll came out, i took notice that my songs know what you did in the dark was by fall out boy. i downloaded this album and listened nonstop for a while. soon after, i impulse bought from under the cork tree, and fell madly in love. i got american beauty/american psycho in real cd form when it came out, and wasn't as obsessed as with the others, but still loved it, specifically fourth of july and jet pack blues. i borrowed infinity on high from a friend and ripped it onto my computer (shh) . i ignored it for a while, but eventually decided to give it a full listen through. ...well. it was on repeat for months. i got take this to your grave last, actually. it's probably the one i'm least involved with.
anything else you'd like to share?:
this band literally saved my life, especially with the song miss missing you. the line "the person you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger" perfectly sums up what happened last new year's, when my super manipulative best friend of two years lashed out. i won't describe it.
i love this band to death!!
