Sagespark nodded and appraised the kit's positioning. "That's right. And you're pretty close. Just..." she trailed off as she lightly pushed again Creamkit's leg, adjusting it's positioning slightly. She then used her paw to lightly put pressure on her shoulder blades, indicating and Creamkit should get a bit lower to the ground. "That's much better. Do you think you could get back into that position all by yourself now that I've showed you?" Sagespark asked, watching Creamkit in amusement.

She nodded,She stood and went back into the position Sagespark told her to as,"like this?"she said and grinned.

Sagespark smiled at the kit. "Great job! Now trying stalking forwards. Remember you don't want to make any noise or else you'll scare the prey away. What do you think that you should do to try and make sure you're as quiet as possible?"

"That's a good start! A lot of apprentices forget to watch out for leaves and twigs and scare away prey once or twice before they remember. But don't forget about your tail either! If you let it drag on the ground no one will catch anything!" Looking around, Sagespark spotted a twig and brought it closer. "Try and leap on this." She said, placing it easily within reach but at a distance that could still be a bit tricky.

She stared at the twig and looked around it,she was about to pounce...Then..She pounced on the twig snapping it in half,lucky pounce Cream kit guessed.

"Great job!" Sagespark exclaimed, her eyes bright with pride. "Now try again, but this time I'm going to put the twig further away." She explained as she pushed it a little further back.

"Very close!" Sagespark crowed. "Next time, when you jump, make sure that most of your weight is on your haunches before you jump, so that you'll get a better jump. It also helps noisy cats stay quiet, though you've already got that skill down!"
