"I wanted to come and ask you stuff because...." Swiftpaw didn't want to say the reason. "Because you looked sad." She said. It wasn't completely a lie, but it wasn't the full truth either. "I'll come back later then." She said as she walked out of the den.

Jadeheart didn't say anything about Swiftpaw. All she did was sit there encase Mousepaw wanted to come back. He'll get better. she reassured herself.

She saw SwiftPaw Walking out of a den,"hey swiftpaw"she said and walked beside her,"what happened?' she said curiously,Creamkit was a little too small for her age.

"Nothing much." Swiftpaw said with a smile. "I'm going to hunt, i'll be right back." She said as she dashed out of camp. She slowed down and sniffed the air. Mouse. she thought as she followed the scent. She saw the mouse eating something next to a tree root. Swiftpaw quickly got downwind of the mouse before she sprang. She caught the mouse and killed it quickly. if only I were strong, then i'd have an easier time in battle training. she thought as she picked her catch up and started back to camp.

she rolled around and practiced pouncing until Swiftpaw came back,'you're really good at what you do" she said and grinned,''Im pretty small for my age"she said and rolled into a ball rolling around.

"I see." Swiftpaw said, her voice muffled by the mouse in her jaws. "So how's being a kit?" She asked with a smile.

"eh,not great to be honest.Sometimes i feel...Useless"she whispered the word useless,"other than that Im glad I have energy"she said and sat down Checking her surroundings.

"It'll get better." Swiftpaw said. "When your an apprentice, you'll start to feel useful. For now, just enjoy being younger and have fun." She said.

He calmed down seeing Swiftpaw pad off. Mousepaw then retreated back to Jadeheart nuzzling her again. He just wanted to be with Jadeheart now and no cat else. He soon started to purr once again and gave a small smile which was a rare sight.
