The brute looked at her. "Just don't worry about it ok?" He asked. He didn't want her to blame herself, but it wasn't exactly his fault he had to save her. But there was also no way he was just going to leave her there like yesterdays dinner.

He flicked his ears. "And I would do it for any other pack-mate." He told her. He didn't like how she was pitying herself. "Just don't worry."

adela awoke with a start, breathing heavily and gasping for air. the nightmare she'd had was still taking its effect on her. the black fae lifted her elegant head, shaking it gingerly as if to scare any memories of the nightmare from her brain. she placed one paw tentatively on the dusty flooring, steadying herself before she stood up. after all, she was left rather shaky after that whole dream ordeal. the tall doberman's black coat glistened like water in the sun, but she felt like mud. while her outside remained beautiful and intact, the inside was trembling and still reeling from her awful experience.

lucas breathed a sigh of content, for he had found a warm, quiet spot to clear his mind and think. somedays were easier than others. he had almost forgotten about his human family, until he saw a single thing that set him off. even though it had been a year, he could never forget them, or the things they had done. but lucas didn't like to dwell on the past, so he sprung up and decided to take a quick run through the forest.

The lone female Border Collie crouched low, scenting another dog nearby. She followed the scent trail until she was hidden behind a bush, watching a beauceron breed walk past. Once he started to leave her field of view, she followed slowly, her paws silent on the forest floor. As she took another step, her eyes on the dog, her paw went down on a twig, which snapped on impact and echoed around the forest, making her position known.

She nodded slowly. 'One rogue anyway.. Attacked and left, ran away when I started howling' She explained quietly, not making eyes contact with any of the wolfs. She didn't want to admit what had actually happened, it was a lot more embarrassing. If I don't make eye contact, they won't know I'm not telling the whole truth. 'Must've known I was from here, right?' She said nervously.

valentina looked up, "I'm sorry I every bothered you," she barked, slowly passing cooper, "it won't happen again." her ears flicked and she lowered her head once more.

Teo's expression was rather surprised. ''It's not likely for a rogue to just run away.'' He spoke, his tone confused. ''Are you sure?'' He asked, wondering if the young sheltie was telling the truth. He sat down on the dusty, sand-covered ground. He didn't want to say that Luna would have been lying, but everything just didn't seem right. Her voice was quite nervous.

'Defiantly, Positive! Promise!' She said, quickly her words jumbling together slightly in her panicked rush. She was hoping she looked terrified enough that they would believe it was just fright making her nervous, and to be honest, it wasn't that hard for her as she was terrified. Of what Alpha and beta might think, of what they would think if they knew... Knew she'd been helped by a lone dog who knew nothing. But mostly terrified if they knew what she had been looking for.

As she passed, her scent tickled his nose. "Hey Valentina, i's ok. You never really bothered me." He barked softly, feeling slightly guilty for upsetting her. "I mean, you can like bother me now whenever you want, cause hey, why not?"

The tall male lowered his head down, sniffing the area beneath a skimpy and growing bare bush. There was nothing
under it worth his time; a few dried up berries, broken rock pieces and some human items. Nothing that he'd be abl
e to eat. Pulling his head back up he lowered his ears down and swung his head around, wearily glaring at his surrou
ndings. He was tired; his legs were aching, his neck was sore, and he in general was just ready to curl up and sleep..
. but no. No. He had to watch out for the humans that might plunder around- the kids. And he also had the fear of so
me kind of other dog jumping him in his sleep. There was no safety where he was, but as of now it was all had. Slowl
y lowering down towards the ground he crossed his paws, head still turning about and watching the world around him
even as he did start to slowly settle down and sleep. Never could trust the world around him.
