@migraine your art is is incredible omg! gl
@inspirations
tbh just going to speak my mind a bit on the non-owner thing
I really don't think there is to be needed more restricted non-owner contest,its not because i want anymore plumerains or think thats its unfair or something because its plenty fair,although the whole "owners make it harder for non-owners" thing is kind of confusing to me.i know i really shouldn't be the one talking because i own 3 plumerains [2 won,1 gifted] but i'd like to know why is it harder for non-owners to compete with owners?
I get it sometimes it really overwhelming with other forms and "fancy coding",whatever you may want to call it,but what does this have to do w/ owners lol?even a non-owner may have "fancy coding" and a great concept,where does this decrease the chances of you obtaining a plumie if you own one?heck,im an owner and i get really overwhelmed when competing for contests although this doesn't mean im going to win/lose?
This is really not targeting anyone but iv'e seen some people complain about more non-owner contests and would like to know where you guys are getting this because i'm not getting the point of you owning one or more plumerian making you win,or if you have a plumie and your trying out where "less effort" and "fancy coding" come into place?

@lillylove90, ahhh such a cute piece of Dipper<333333 I loooove your adorable style<3
Well I usually don't like doing this,but I am in need of help in winning a dreamie.I have fallen head over heels for this plumie and my idea for him<3 Though I only have this much for him typed up I will add more later<3

name:
Silhouette
gender:
Male
Ideas so far
Grave Robber
Goes by "The Crypt" to his customers, and or anyone else who has heard of his "work"
He is very manipulative and has a very charismatic facade to match
He has only had a few get passed his very convincing lies about him being an antique seller and photographer
So I am looking for art and someone to help with coding when I finish all of my writing and whatever else I can put into my form.
I don't have a lot to offer sadly, but I could do Art Trades and maybe even offer some pets ^w^' Just PM me if you think you could help<3

@beeb
I do not think it is due to when in non restricted competitions it is "harder" per say. But, more like since more people enter it's harder to win. In restricted comps less people enter making it easier to win. However, maybe there is an issue like if someone won a Plumerian before they know what to do to impress judges? Just speaking my mind. Also, I know some non owners are just lazy and expect it to be given to them with little to no effort. But yeah, to win you can't do the bare minimum and if your heart is really in it you shouldn't do that anyways.

@inspirations; I can honestly say that non-owner contests can be quite pointless sometimes, especially when done in large numbers like they have been done in lately. Contests often have over 70-80 entries, and out of that it's purely based on effort and dedication and whatever else the contest asks for. Nonowners have equal chances to win when it comes to any contest. ;v;
@irken;; good luck!
I also want to say a little reminder- Don't guilt trip after a contest is judged! It not only makes the winner feel cruddy, but it also makes the artist feel rather cruddy too. I'm trying my best when it comes to contests and providing feedback to those who earned it. Please don't give me a reason to just do bare-bone minimum.

@Inspirations & Beeb;; Oh, I really like this topic. I must agree here with beeb like for 100%.
I think that non-owners contests are pretty good and easier to these who didn't have a plumie yet,
but if I will be honest, I'm not big fan of them. For me everyone have chance to win a plumerian
and it doesn't matter mostly if you are an owner or a non-owner. You must have idea, effort, show
your heart and try really strong. Sometimes you will reach goal, or sometimes there will be better
people. It's just a life. And what if one of non-owners plumerian would be a dream to an owner?
They don't have chance to even try for them- and for normal comps, non-owner still can.
Sometimes it's very hard to be the part of the community, but there will always be this day. You can
also help others, be kind, write messages, offer linearts and answer/ask for questions. It's less then you
can do when you have a plumerian ofc, but this can show you in the good light, that you are very determinated
and you won't leave community easily. I was a non-owner for a pretty long time [not so long as some people,
but it's still a bit of time, like for 4 months maybe? so sorry, don't remember at all.] I tried to be in good
relations with others, help them and then I needed help for comps, they helped me too. I met friends and
I love them so much now. And oh, I didn't win a comp, Magnolia was gifted to me from lovely moderator
of plumies, which with I was setting a commision. They were suprised that I'm so active and I'm still
non-owner... And that was like one of the best days in my life.
There were few non-owners plummies that I loved and was so sad, that I couldn't participe in. I think
that this number of non-owner contests is good. There were few in this time, and I think there isn't
much need to do plenty more in this time.
So sorry if I made someone feel uncomfortable or something with my opinion, but these are just my
personal thoughts. ♥

Tadashi's readopt is still open and will end on December 9th!I'd love to see more entries by then in hopes of an amazing home. This is just a little bump, kinda, for the competition.
...
@Inspirations;; Oh son. The debate topic is back. My personal opinion is that I think it's OK for there to be non-owners, as non-owners out weigh the owners. That and so many non owners are a tad younger or not as....good as writing, drawing, and may even be unable to order art- I personally was like that (my art sucked and I couldn't stay consistent with a story and I didn't have a proper DA then)- and that sucks. You could try your personal hardest and then end up being in last place because of your limitations. I suppose you an get help from owners who offer help, but more time than not, artists and users understandably ask for payment of some kind and it all falls back down to a non-owners limitations.
I know it's apart of being a plumerian owner to draw art, write, and such but in time I'm sure that non owner will grow out of their faze and get better at each of those things in some way- and if not, who's to say they don't love them because they can't shower them in art? Having a character is not necessarily based what you do in the physical with them. If you ask me, if you really LOVE and CARE FOR a plumerian, and you TRY to do what YOU can do for your plumerian to the BEST of your ability...I think that's worthy of owning one.
However, it's usually the biggest and flashiest forms in a contest that usually the contests. I'm not saying that said owners do not deserve them, oh no, they do. I'm just saying that, in some people's own view, they tried just as hard with a less sufficient form. They did THEIR best.
So all in all, I believe Non Owner Competitions should be around, maybe not ALL the time, but I certainly don't think they should lessen. Everyone deserves a fair chance at winning something, and sometimes, contests aren't THEORETICALLY fair when it comes to a owner and non owner spectrum. Sorry to drop my trash opinion on you all but :v

I also am entering for luminescence readoption,
please pm me if you would like to take an art trade, I need at least five and I have one so far!
I am willing to offer anything for luminescence, so please take this seriously <3
@inspirations & beeb:
Ok, I agree that there should be a little more non-owner competitions, just we don't need over ruling plumerians.
I to am a non-owner and would love to have one of these sweeties, but from mistakes I have learned not to whine
about things I haven't tried for. It is a perfectly fair chance though to find a plumie that you can win with owners,
its all because they've tried at least 10 times to grab one. And maybe if you put all your thought and mind into it,
you can win one as well.
