Faithstar shrugged. Antpaw had obviously not heard that... at all... Faithstar looked at Antpaw, clearly seeing the sadness in his eyes. This is where it all comes tumbling down, she thought sadly. Dagger has to go! It can't happen again! Faithstar closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and trying to figure out the situation. Faithstar, you have no decision to make. Dagger stays, said the she-cat voice, again. Faithstar opened her eyes again. It must be a StarClan cat speaking to me. Did StarClan not see the tragedy that happened around 10 moons ago? Faithstar looked at Antpaw. "Fine. Dagger will stay."

He rushed out of the leader's den, tumbling over Dagger. "You can stay! You can stay!" Antpaw said, rolling off of her. He leapt into the air, not caring if any other cat saw.

Pepper nodded and followed Emeraldsky's instructions. First, she picked the thyme up in her jaws. She couldn't help making a disgusted face as the strong smell hit her like a blow right to the nose. Secondly, she brought the herb over to Thrushpaw, and laid it down so it was within reach for her to eat it. She looked into the pretty she-cat's eyes, quickly looking away out of nervousness. "Um..." she began, somehow at a loss for words. I can't mess my words up in front of her! she thought nervously, looking to the left of the she-cat so she didn't have to meet her eyes. Or any other cat, she quickly reminded herself. "Emeraldsky wan- needs, yeah, needs, you to eat this."

Antpaw smiled, licking Dagger's nose. "You can stay!" the black tom exclaimed again. He gave another leap of joy. Antpaw had needed something good in his life right now. Suddenly, a big orange tom jumped between all of them, snapping Antpaw out of his thoughts. The small, black cat hissed loudly. "Who are you?" Antpaw demanded. He obviously knew Faithstar, but that didn't mean he could be here.
