Daisuke nonchantly glanced over to the group of boys over to the left of Ken before shifting to the door where a couple of people had entered. His eyebrow raised in slightest at the sight of the man (Izumi) and could've sworn he'd seen him at one point or another. "I bet it is if it gets busy like this" he chuckled softly, awaiting his own cup of the warm brew of liquid, "Is it always so, uh, crowded like this? Or is there like some special deal that I don't know about?"

She brushed her black silky hair behind her ear and kept her gaze on the cafe they were approaching. Before Izumi pointed out it was busy, she could tell there were many bodies inside. This didn't bother her, she was comfortable in ghoul-dominated crowds, made any humans easy to detect. She dipped her head and muttered a soft "Thank you." to Izumi for holding the door open and she entered the one cafe that was a safe place for ghouls. And of course the CCG was there. Her stomach twisted and she felt her muscles start to quiver. Every inch of her being told her to run, but she ignored them all and forced herself to calm down. She glanced the inspectors up and down once and turned her attention to the menu. She loosened her grip on her purse, to show that she was comfortable around them. In reality, she was extraordinarily nervous; but she wouldn't give them the pleasure of seeing her frightful. She looked back to Izumi and waited for him to join her. "What will you be getting?" she asked him, turning her attention back to the menu. She purposely decided to ignore his earlier comments. Ghouls were certainly not a subject to be talking about now, of all times. She knew what she was getting, but she noticed the manager wasn't present. The waiter was someone she had never seen before, he was probably a little new and she wondered if he knew about the sugar cubes that have human parts in them. Something-someone- in this cafe smelt absolutely amazing, it took her a while to realize it was the waiter, when did the manager start hiring humans? Especially ones that smelt so good that she was almost tempted to take a bite. Now ignoring the investigators AND the waiter's tempting smell, she awaited to be served.

Daniel blinked up at the newcomer. "Who are ya'?" He said blandly, his dull eyes watching the male. "Is there any parties?" He muttered returning his attention to Zero, glancing at the male, obviously unsure about him.

Caine sighed. "Novacaine, it's me. Caine." He said with a sigh, he had the same eyes as Daniel but was it him?

As he finished brewing the coffee he handed it to Daisuke and looked towards the door. "No.. it's usually not this busy here." he muttered.

As night approached more and more the streetlights flickered on and she felt a lingering eerie presence that no matter how much faster she walked she couldn't escape. She kept turning her head to check behind her back in worry that someone could be following her.

She stretched out her arms and rested her head on the table with a sleepy groan. She poked her head back up to take a sip of coffee but then immediately put her head back on her arms.

Zero smirked. "There's this party in two days" he started, keeping his voice down somewhat. "A masquerade party to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving day" He shrugged, "But that's in a couple days. Right now, I was perfectly content eyeballing Kaneki over there"
