Daniel wandered down the street, biting the skin under his nail as he walked. God, he was bored. Spotting Anteiku, he wandered toward the coffee shop, in a slight daze. Opening the door, he stepped to the door, and flopped on a bar seat, laying his head and arms on the counter, closing his unnatural eyes.
{ Oh, I forgot! Daniel has yellow eyes, with slits like a cat's for the pupil. If your okay with that. }

Zero

Zero looked up from his phone when he heard the door to the coffee shop open. He had been trying not to glance frequently over to the two guys whom he assumed to be investigators. Seeing Daniel, he gave a brief glance at Kankei and the human guys before getting from his seat and moving next to Daniel. "Yo Danny-boy" he said, with a hint of amusement in his voice "Never though I'd catch you striding into a shop like this"

Caine, had looked up when he heard the bell he had seen Daniel, he stuck his head inside,
"Daniel?" They had been child hood friends from ward 13, he lost connection with him a few years ago after his sister died
"Daniel, is that you?" He was fully inside the shop now

Daniel glanced up at Zero. "I'm bored!" He whined, not bothering to move from his position on the counter. Hearing someone calling him, he slowly lifted his head, and leaned back in his chair. "Who's calling me...? He muttered, his eyes wandering the shop.

Caine approached shim and looked right into his eyes,
"Well I'll be damned, it is you Daniel" he said with a smile, and it left thinking that he probably didn't rememberhim

"One helluva time to come" Zero mumbled quietly under his breath, not trying to be heard. "Should've just gone too...I don't know, a party. With lots of nice little-" he stopped short of finishing his sentence. He didn't need to be getting hunted tonight. Tonight he had other plans. He looked up at Caine and laughed softly. Small world.

Kamiko's smile brightened slightly at the strange and awkward way he had replied and acted. 'They certainly didn't seem at that dangerous.' Kou thought while she tucked a curl of black hair behind her ear, just trying to get it out of her range of vision. "Oh I hear ya, I do most of my studying here when I can. But it'll be hard to find a better cup of coffee than here." She said softly, not all that bothered in revealing the more human parts of her life.

'Oh, surprised? How endlessly interesting...' His mouth curled all the more, dark eyes flashing as he continued trying to place this stranger together in a way that made sense to him. Izumi watched her eyes shine and her mind rev in a flurry of questions that seemed to distract her momentarily. "Mhmm, and indeed they do. I know quite a few that work there and one that basically lives there, the poor thing.~" He hummed casually, weaving his fingers together behind his back in a strange movement, obviously not good with keeping still. "And I'm sure they get lonesome, territorial and monstrous as they might be." They were at the door quickly and held it open for her, brows shooting up in amusement at the amount of people in the small cafe. "Huh, kinda busier than usual."

Daisuke nonchantly glanced over to the group of boys over to the left of Ken before shifting to the door where a couple of people had entered. His eyebrow raised in slightest at the sight of the man (Izumi) and could've sworn he'd seen him at one point or another. "I bet it is if it gets busy like this" he chuckled softly, awaiting his own cup of the warm brew of liquid, "Is it always so, uh, crowded like this? Or is there like some special deal that I don't know about?"
