Shadow poked his head out of his den and scented the air. Though the scent of other dogs was most prominent, he could also sense something else. He narrowed his eyes and lifted his head up, hoping to get a stronger scent.

Crystal had a weird sensation, she lifted her muzzle to the air and could sense... It smelled like smoke, but it couldn't be.. Maybe her nose was failing her. "Lillian do you smell that?" She asked still unsure. She started trotting towards the smell.

Lillian walked out of her den, her pup pawing at Kaz who was still sleeping. "Wha-" she began to ask, as the smell of smoke drifted up to her nose. "I do..." she said, but I don't know what direction it's coming from. "Lets wake everyone up, and see what we should do. She walked over to the Beta's den. "Strider?" she asked.

"Who else should I go wake up?" She asked? A little nervously.

"How about the other hunters, and maybe the patrols. You'll be fine." said Lillian, giving Crystal an encouraging wag of her tail.

She headed towards the other dens.
"Everyone get up!" She said Approaching the dens.
