She murmured, "Okay." and slowly drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

"Uh, you mean Icetooth?" Flamepaw asked before looking at the leader with a hint of disgust as she left them without a word. She should at least be able to lead a patrol without leaving everyone if she is the leader of Snowclan! he thought as she left. "No i haven't seen him." He added.

"Yah that guy. You think we should go and find him? I mean he is small and weak anyways and I'm worried about him." Birdpaw then asked before seeing the leader completely ignore them. The female gave a small growl unsheathing her claws before storming off to find Icetooth.

"I can't seem to keep a tab on my apprentice, so sure." Jadeheart purred. "If you wouldn't mind, I need to collect some Goldenrod." She said. "Could you come with me to help me carry it?" She asked.

Moondust's ears went back as he heard Snowstar say she loved the other tom. Like the leader would ever like you. he scolded himself for having a crush on her in the first place. He padded away from the area quickly and walked out of camp. Whatever, it's not like she knew. And there will always be other she-cats. he told himself.

"It's not a race. " Jadeheart commented but had a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. She caught up to the apprentice and smiled before taking the lead as she saw the goldenrod flowers.

Snowstar woke up short a few hours of dawn. She groaned, "Did I really say that? I don't care if that was true, I'm so embarrassed!" She shuffled around in her nest, fussing about how she said that.

Moondust walked back into camp and heard Snowstar. "Any chance I could get in a patrol?" He asked the leader with no emotion showing.

Snowstar raked her claws down the floor of her den and said, "Sure, you can uh go on a border patrol with your apprentice and whoever else you want, just not Rowanfang.... I need to talk to him.."

"Whatever you say." Moondust had a hint of jealousy in his tone before he went to find Mousepaw. "Mousepaw!" He called.
