probably the most prominent feature of rinji would be
his eyes. a bright shade of ice blue, one might assume
that they may indeed be ice from the cold looks he gives.
he stands somewhere around 5' 10" and weighs in at
around 140 pounds. he's light for his height due to his
body being compromised entirely of lean muscle. his hair
is raven black and is a bit on the longer side, so it can be
tied in a short ponytail. his bangs often hang in his eyes.
rin is generally seen frowning since he rarely finds anything
worth smiling over. he prefers to wear dark colours.
backstory;
Rinji, or more commonly known as Rin, hails from the 17th
Ward. Rin grew up in the streets with his younger sister,
Kaori, as well as a few other misplaced young ghouls as his
and Kaori's parents were taken out by CCG. The small group
worked together for everything- finding shelter, aiding one
another, and of course, food. Eventually, the ghouls grew
up and realized that it wasn't safe to live in a sort of 'pack',
so they went their separate ways. During an encounter with
Doves, Kaori and Rinji were separated from one another. He
hasn't done anything to let his sister know that he's still alive,
but he's seen her from afar. Unlike Kaori, Rinji did not try to
fit into human life, going to school and work. Instead, he
sticks with his animalistic nature. He doesn't pretend that he's
a human, but he doesn't see humans as just food either.
He's known as a wandering ghoul with no permanent home,
lending his strength where he sees fit.

backstory; The only son of a single mother working as a cleaning woman
during the day and a waitress at night, Luthias practically raised himself in the
poor quarters of the Karanese District. His mother said that his father had been
imprisoned for something Luthias never learned of. As he grew up, he was often
forked over to the neighbors to be taken care of until he was independent
enough to watch their small house until his mother got a chance to come home
and rest. Because he rarely had a guardian, Luthias was that one kid the others
in the neighborhood picked on and bullied, causing a deep hatred to brew in him
for those who picked on the weak. As soon as possible, he left to join the army
to help support his mother since they were desperately recruiting members.
Through his years of being tormented, Luthias adapted by strengthening his
body, evident currently through his large muscles. He succeeded in most of
the training and graduated as the 9th highest ranking in his unit. Deciding that
his talents would be of better use elsewhere, he signed up for the Survey Corps.

short temper led her to more than a few fights in the schoolyard. to let off
some steam and relax, she turned to video games. not having the patience
to learn all the different game plays, she hasn't experienced very many
games, but it looks like she won't need to know how to play anything other
than elder tales.

in game, kiyoko is a dependable character when it comes to fights as well
as a loyal companion willing to help anywhere she can. she can come off
as a rather abrasive, but she is in fact receptive to other's emotions. kiyo
acts irrationally quite frequently, but she deserves some credit due to her
pure strength and quick feet. she runs out of stamina faster than others of
her class, though. currently, she's searching for a few friends or to maybe
even join a guild.

mizushima kano grew up in a fishing village where his family made up a portion of the
town's fisherman population. the sea fascinated kano as a child, and he'd often be playing
by the water. he often dreamed about what was beyond his hometown, but his daydreaming.
was often shut down by his father, who was a hard worker and wanted kano to be the same.
time passed, and kano became a young man ready to start his own family and take up his
father's mantle, but strange ships appeared at the ports in his village and other similar towns.
learning that they were merchant ships from foreign lands, he also heard from locals that
they were bringing their strange ways and changing their culture. kano's father was
particularly upset at this as a man of tradition, and to please him, he sought out ways to rid
his country, or at least his town, of these foreigners.
a day spent by the ocean, pondering what to do, changed kano's life forever. in response to
his prayers, a sea serpent appeared before the young man, offering to form a contract with
him. the serpent, a close relative of mizuchi offered him strength in return for his soul.
foolishly accepting the bargain, kano became a vessel for the serpent, gaining the ability to
transform into the beast. with his new powers, kano wrecked havoc to these foreigners,
sinking their ships and earning a reputation as the leviathan. with the leviathan's gift, or
curse, came eternal youth, and in the following years, kano's family faded, leaving him
alone. without them, he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself, having no previous
ambitions. thinking back to when he was a child, kano decided to take up that childish
idea and explore the high seas. he studied english and hopped aboard a merchant's ship,
leaving his home country behind. he currently sails with keto's vault and her crew.

personality; despite being centuries old, kano remained quite childish, and his nature is often reflected in the little pranks he'll pull on his crew mates or the brief conversations he'll start revolving around the specific shade of blue the sky is or the last thing he ate. optimistic and friendly, depending on who you ask, kano comes off as either a cheerful friend to have around or some troublesome fool who tries to weasel his way out of duties. even so, he is a natural people-pleaser and dutifully obeys his superiors. he does his best to support the keto's vault and enthusiastically learns from his mentor the sailing master. he's also quite the adventurer and becomes even more talkative when the ship anchors at foreign ports.

in his human form, kano stands at around 1.65 meters [5' 5"] and weighs around 57.6 kilograms [127 lbs]. he's short, thin, and a bit defensive about this. his muscles are lean, barely showing in his arms and legs but allow him to be swift and flexible. he has wavy dark brown hair that varies in length and often appears scruffy and unkempt. his skin, from spending so much time in the sun, has tanned to a medium golden brown. his eyes are dark and never appear to be focused on one spot.
in his transformed state, kano becomes around 18.3 meters [60'] long and takes on the appearance of a sea serpent, dragon, or his alias, the leviathan. his scales are naturally a deep green-blue depending on where they are located along the body, and they reflect the light in the water, making him virtually invisible to those looking down on him in the water until its too late. his jaws consist of a forked tongue and two rows of sharp fangs. he does have short legs, but he never comes up land in this form, so they're rather useless. several fins besides his long tail help send him swiftly change directions in the water. an assortment of spines run down his spine, and various horns sprout from his skull, giving him a monstrous appearance for enemy ships.

● transformation - his main ability is to channel the mizuchi through his own body and shape-shift to become him. he is capable of breathing both in and out of water, and he's quite fast in this form, easily darting past ships. however, this ability comes with its limitations. he cannot maintain this form for more than a few hours as it strains his physical form and causes him to become unconscious. whilst unconscious, he risks never surfacing and drowning. also, he needs at least a full day to recuperate before shifting again. he tends to be quite ravenous afterwards and will not hesitate to beg the hound for an extra scrap of food.
● blade skills - kano is familiar with the use of a katana, but he's not particularly good at it due to the length. he tends to favor a dagger he keeps at his side.
