Arber smelt a rabbit. He snuck through the trees, following the scent. There, he saw a large rabbit eating off a plant. He snuck behind ot, but just then, it looked behind it and noticed him. It started running, so he did too. For a while, it was a fast chase. Then, he grabbed onto his tail, and then grabbed onto its body. But of course, he tripped over his blurred feet and fell in the dirt. He got up, and pranced over to the others. "Look what I caught!" He said, covered in dirt but proud of himself.

"Nice catch!" Storm wagged her tail, then looked over to Sam, expectation in her eyes. "Come on, join in!" She didn't eat her bird, and looked over to Arber as if to tell him to do the same, keeping it at her paws.

((sorry I couldn't come on yesterday, I took a pain pill, and it made me sick all day, I couldn't keep anything down...))

Sam smelt something. She couldn't really put her finger on it, but it smelt like food. She kept walking, until she saw it. It was a beaver, cutting down a tree. She had never smelt one before. Sh got closer, and at the right time, lunged at it. It gave up quite a fight. She taunted it, biting at its body, she finally got to its head, and had it in her mouth. it was still struggling, but that didn't last for long. She cracked its neck, and brang it back to the group. "Holy, this one sure fought a lot." She said, breathing slightly harder.

Storm laughed, nosing at the creature's oily pelt. "Beavers are like that. I've had to deal with them before." She grabbed her bird, and looked around. "Let's pass them around, a bite of each before we settle down to eat." She offer her bird to Sam, smiling and wagging her tail.

"Thanks." She said, taking a bite of the bird then passing it to Arber. It was very good. She couldn't wait to dig in to her beaver. She had never tried it before, and she loved to try new foods. She gave it to Arber, after he gave the bird back to Storm.

Arber picked up his rabbit, still covered in dirt. "Here Storm. Even if it doesn't taste good, it was still fun hunting it down." He said, laughing remembering him tripping over his feet. He then took I bite of the bird. "Good catch." He said to Storm.

Storm took a bite of the rabbit, savoring the gamy flesh, then took the beaver. It was gamy as well, the meat oily and good. She passed it back over to Sam. "Thanks, Arber. And, wonderful catch, both of you! I love rabbit, and beaver is a rare treat around here."

Sam took a bite into her beaver. It was so good. She savoured every piece. "You got a pretty good ctach yourself Storm." She said, smiling warmly.

Arber ate into his rabbit. He ripped it piece by peice. He threw it into the air and caught it again. He had seen an owner toss a treat to a dog and the dog seemed to enjoy it. So Arber tried it and soon did it almost everytime he ate.

Storm looked up, laughing. She had done that before, back when she was a sled dog. She tossed her bird into the air, standing on her back legs and catching it, biting a huge piece off and swallowing it. "Yeah, this place has some great hunting. But, the deer are vicious." She laughed, and licked Arber's cheek.

Arber laughed. "Hey, that's the truth. If I would of seen him, he would of been dead meat." He said. of course, he was bragging. He would have to put up a pretty big fight to kill that big Buck.

Sam chuckled. "So, what's the story behind the vicious deer?" She said, smirking. It wasn't a smart alec smile, it was more happy and amused by the new dogs she had met.

Storm grinned. "Arber was out hunting, and was shishkebabed by a buck." She laughed, and finished off her bird. "Hey, why don't we do a little deer hunting? I used to hunt caribou, and they're way bigger than the deer in these parts. I can teach you!" She licked Arber's nose, and turned to Sam with a smile.
