I had this sitting lined in my folder for the longest time, as I haven't been feeling well, I decided to go ahead and color it to try and dip my feet back into art so I can get back to work on my commissions.

As you can see, I have paired up my two kiamaras Casper and Rowena. I thought my two dark, glow-y babes looked really adorable together and I have the most adorable story for the two of them. I think they work really well together <3

Did you base your kias personality/character/backstory off of anything? Did anything inspire small parts of it?
Casper:He's based of various things I like. He was my first kia so I put a lot of myself into him
Ichabod:Loosely of different variations of Ichabod Crane from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Benjamin:Again he represents parts of me, my love of musical theater <3
Lestat:The vampire Lestat is his inspiration ^-^
Rowena:Last bit of me...my love of fantasy, literature, and animals

Casper: Cas
Ichabod: None that I am aware
Benjamin: Benny, Ben, Benji

Casper:He has a bat pet so maybe like The Jersey Devil XD
Ichabod:Griffon would be quite fitting
Benjamin:Unicorn or Pegasi

What nationality is your kia?
Mylo: British
Kaito: Australian


Did you base your kias personality/character/backstory off of anything? Did anything inspire small parts of it?
Mylo's character is based off of a Coldplay album, and he's inspired by their music. His personality has little things similar to mine in it, and we share a love of music. His back story is a little bit inspired by Fix You by Coldplay.

Kaito's name relates to his love of astronomy as his name can mean Ursa Major in Japanese. I'm not really sure where I got inspiration from for him, his personality kind of just came to me. Though he does have a few traits that he gets from me, Mylo and his parents.

Ellington: Well, he was based on swing music, and that is my favorite genre of music, so I used that to influence his personality and backstory. His name, of course, and his profession as a band member, are based on Duke Ellington
Asher: I love coffee, so I made him have that same love
