phantom stands up he shifts and realizes that something is wrong he walks over to the water and concentrates on the other water sources he tastes the fish and the salt then something new, something that should of not been there, blood.

Caspia awakes. She feels numb, empty. She looks up to the eyes of another horse.
''Piper.''
She can only just breathe out the words, and she doesn't have the strength to lift her head. She can see another horse by piper's side. He is slowly walking in a circle around her, smirking.
''So you finally found someone else to do your dirty work for you, huh? Didn't want to get your hooves dirty?'' She closes her eyes, feeling the blow which the stallion aimed at her. Her jaw is bleeding. She raises her head.
''Tell us. How did you kill the spy, and what do you know.'' The black horse lunges at her, teeth bared and ears flattened back. She smiles at him.
''Do you really think that a couple of kicks is going to make me tell you?'' She gives him weak but determined smile. He places a hoof on her neck and leans down to her.
''Stupid mare. So, you do know something do you?''
''I do. But I'm not going to tell you, even if I die.'' The stallion draws back slightly, a flicker of surprise running through his eyes. But they harden again, and he puts a bit more pressure on the hoof. She closes her eyes, pain running through her. Horses as well as wolves await for the signal from piper, to attack her.

"Peter" Piper called "yes ma'am" the wolf said "kill her" the wolf looked at the mare laying there "yes ma'am

The wolves dive onto her, but the black stallion watches.
''Wait.''
They pause to look at him. He is unsure if piper is watching as well.
''Let's leave her. She won't make it on her own. Who knows? Maybe she will decide to just end it on her own. I'd like to watch that.'' They snigger, and after a few more vicious bites, they leave her where she is, stranded in a no-mans land, miles from food or water...The black horse watches them, and when it is just him and piper, he rears up, lands, and kicks her in the stomach. He turns, smirking to piper and they walk away.

*It's midday by the time Caspia wakes up. She can barely breathe, and blood is dripping from her nose and mouth, along with thousands of other cuts covering her body. She tries to move but pain rips through her body. Large scars are so deep you can see muscle, and a huge gash is across her face and one eye. She tries to get up, managing to get onto her knees, but slowly she sinks to the ground. A tear slips out of her eyes, sliding down her face. She closes her eyes, and lays her head down to die.
''Help me....''
