tornados are nature, earthquakes are nature,
soldiers sign up for that, and know the risks.
this was humans, meant to hurt other
people.
this wasnt nature. this wasnt a known risk.
this was an attack meant to hurt, terrify,
and kill. this wasnt an act of revenge, it was
an act of pure hatred and terror. it shocked
the people, it suddenly ripped away family
members. no one could have prepared, or
seen this coming. and in one day we lost
hundreds of people. thats why its different.

Exactly, I mean of course all of the tornados and other disasters are bad, but what do we remember most in the US? 9/11, because it was different than those things.
And with the whole Paris thing, it came with other threats, and it was so unexpected - it just brings back the idea that attacks like this can happen at any time, and those victims had no way of knowing that they were going to be killed. With natural disasters, most can be detected with technology and preperations can be made.

It's to show support, not to make it famous. I think you'd be a little on the ignorant side to call it "famous" because it certainly isn't 'famous' - in fact, famous is the totally wrong word for something like this - it's just publicised. It isn't to get people's attention, but to show respect and support for Paris.
There is a huge difference between publicising something to make it famous, and 'publicising' something to show support/respect/etc. and the two are basically opposites.]

I think this is a really nice idea and Ik that a lot of people died but why now?! Have people only just noticed there are terrorists in the world. I saw nothing about Tunisia beach massacre on here. I see nothing about Mexico. As a suvivor of the Tunisia attack a feel quie hurt that suddenly people say pray for Paris, but nothing else. I mean yeah, pray for them, but think about other places too... Idc if I get hate it's an opinion

This arguement is amazing. and whilst you are all whining at each other, the people of paris are suffering from their losses like all people do. eventually they will forget, but it is our obligation as humans to do what we can in the heat of this moment. is it wrong? possibly. but isn't it more wrong to ignore it? I really don't know.
