James Jackson Porter
"You probably thought that I'd never escape I'd be a rat in a cage, I'd be a slave to this place You don't know how hard I fought to survive, Waking up alone when I was left to die You don't know about this life I've lived."
my eyes narrowed a bit as i watched the other boy, wary. " Jaylin, we need to go." i growled " your forgetting what we had to do today." i said " we can't very well do it if we're dead." i took her hand again and pulled her towards the door again.
Jaylin Hopkins Porter
"Our fight is between lions and men They'll always tell you that you can't win.....We will prove them wrong For the first time but not the last time."
" that's pretty." i told her, smiling a little goofily. my brother came up behind me and hissed warnings to me. the thing we were supposed to do today? oh, right, that thing. i internally groaned, i honestly didn't even want to do it.
" it can wait." i said, not taking my eyes from the girl as i cocked my head to the side softly, ears swiveling a bit.
" we can't very well do it if we're dead." he snapped, hand grabbing mine. dead?
" dead? what makes you think that?! no one is attacking us, quit being so paranoid."
" i'm not paranoid. they have business of their own to attend to, it's none of our business and we;re keeping them from it, now let's go."
" but-"
" no buts, we're going." he pulled me towards the door and i frowned.
" i'll see you later?" i asked Yattie.
