Larkfoot stood and stretched, yawning loudly. He padded over to the medicine den and sat just inside the entrance. "Hello?" he called, hoping for a quick reply from the medicine cat. His cough seemed to be getting stronger, so he figured he should stop in.

He slowly padded into the medicine cat's den, sitting down respectfully in front of her. "I've been having quite the cough recently," he mewed, his voice raspy. "I figure I'm either coming down with something, or I'm just old as dirt." He let out a laugh, trying to make light of the situation.

"Thank you so much, Cloudspots," he mewed, eating the leaves and cringing at the bitter taste. "I appreciate it. How have you been lately?" He loved to make small talk; he figured now would be a better time than ever to get to know his clanmates better, after being cooped up in his den alone for most of the day. He hardly ever came out to speak.
