Emberpaw had just finished helping clean Ashenstars den when she heard Hickorygaze calling for her. "See you Vinepaw!" She grinned, "I've got to train." She left the den and ran towards her mentor.

Miststar called for all cats that were for for patrol to come to her before continuing her conversation. "Well we're all careful not to get in their bad side so you can stop having nightmares about it." She said.

Hickorygaze looked at Emberpaw, his eyes just staring into hers. "We're gonna work on defense today, follow me," he flicked his tail and started walking toward the exit of the camp, doing long strides and make Emberpaw work a little before they got to the training grounds.

Cedarbreeze awoke by her stomach growling. She sighed, she was up late on dusk patrol and she over slept. She hissed in annoyance but then changed her mood when she saw the snow. It's been here for a while but I feel like a kit when I see it! She quickly ran out of the warriors den and into the snow, headfirst and rolled around. She giggled staying on her back and looking at the sky.

Brackenclaw crouched among the snowy moors as he stalked a rabbit. His muscles were tense and strained as he forced himself to remain in his current position; which was in a gorse bush. The sticks of the bush brushed agenst Brackenclaw's flanks irritably; but he resisted the urge to move. The rabbit soon moved toward his position and nibbled on a few exposed stems of grass. Bunching his muscles, he awaited for the perfect position. the rabbit moved over to some more stems near him. It almost seemed as though it were in slow motion when Brackenclaw burst from the bush and tackled the rabbit. The rabbit with it's huge back claws managed to scrape his flanks, but Brackenclaw had it already limp in his jaws when it began to fight back. Though he caught the rabbit, it was still a rough landing; but the snow padded the fall mostly. Brackenclaw grunted and crawled out if the snow. Shaking the snow from his pelt, he grabbed his kill with pride beaming from him as he realized how plump it really was. "This'll knock even Shelltail's reputation when they see this!" he exclaimed to no one in particular. Then, he turned to a loud "thump!" from behind him. It was a wounded bird laying in the snow. It had a fractured wing as was crowing loudly. "My lucky day.." he murmured. From what he could tell, the bird was in pain; so he swiftly ended it and brought it back to his rabbit. Shaking his head, he realized it would take him a bit longer than he had hoped to get back to camp.

Brackenclaw heaved the rabbit onto his back before grasping the bird in his jaws. It was hard to trudge through the snow; especially with the extra weight. Finally, he reached the entrance to the camp. Pride shown in his eyes as he entered it with the huge rabbit and the bird in his jaws. Seeing awed and approving eyes around him made him feel good, but they weren't the pair eyes he was looking for.

Cedarbreeze shook the snow off her head and looked over at the entrance of the camp. There stood Brackenfang. She blushed under her fur and got up, walking toward him. " Wow, Brackenfang that's plump rabbit!" She smiled, trying not to blush. "I-you-I could never catch something like t-that!" She ducked her head, kind of embarrassed. You're such a mousebrain, he probably thinks your some sort of kittypet!

Brackenclaw let out a smirk, and dipped his head in greeting as Cederbreeze approached him. Padding over to the Freshkill pile, he first dropped the bird on there, then the plump rabbit. "Thanks," he said, shaking the snow from his pelt. "Perhaps we could train together sometime?" he suggested; suddenly anxious for her answer. Sighing wearily, he grabbed a mouse from the pile and another for Cederbreeze. "Hungry?" he inquired.

Cedarbreeze blushed some more, not knowing if he could see it. Her ears perked up when he mentioned training together, "I-I would love too!" She smiled, seeing him grab her a mouse. "Yeah, um, thanks~!" She blushed some more, eyes filled with embarrassment. She flicked her tail over to a not so snowy spot in the camp, "How about there?" She asked, trying to smile and not look stupid.

Brackenclaw smirked again at Cederbreeze's shyness and flicked his tail; beckoning her to follow him. "I've got a better place in mind" he told her then bounded outside of the camp and padded through the snow with the mouse in his jaws. Since he'd already been out for so long, he didn't notice how numb his paws were until they touched more snow again. Sighing irritatingly, he glanced back to see if Cederbreeze was following.

Lifting Lostear down to them, she watched as Ashenstar and Darkwing arranged her body in a peaceful way, then climbed out of the deep pit. Ashenstar was the first to put a clump of dirt over her body, and they all bid her farewell after word. Soon, they had buried their clan mate and Nightshade watched them dissipate into the camp; but she did not follow. Her eyes seemed to glow with anger as they left. A flowing rage seemed to take place in her heart as she began to form the perfect plan in her head. Racing through the territory, she headed straight for Riverclan territory.

Cedarbreeze nodded and padded after Brackenclaw, the stinging her pads at first bust she ignored it, trudging behind the tom. She then fell face first in the snow, she pulled her head out of the snow and shook the snow off her head, a piece staying on her nose. She sneezed and giggled embarrassed.

Applejaw dived under the freezing river and down to a small figure under the water. He grabbed Stonekit and broke through the surface, gasping for breath but being pulled back under from the current. He hissed as they went back under. He felt his tail brush Stonekits flank. He surfaced again, this time throwing Stonekit on the shore. He went under once more before surfacing and getting ashore. He coughed some water up before he quickly ran over to Stonekit, grabbing the scruff of the kit then running into the camp.

Stormstar glanced over at Mouseheart. "Where did you see him last?" he asked urgently. The river could take a kit without a sound any time. Unless it was an animal or an enemy clan, he couldn't have gone far He told himself as he glanced around and yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath The Great Willow for a clan meeting!"

Nightshade continued to run through the territory until she ran out of breath. She had finally reached the end of her border. Crossing it, she wondered through until she found the cave Hickorygaze had gone into, and without the slightest thought or care if he scented her, plunged into the cave. Only to find that she wasn't alone.

Darkwing padded behind Ashenstar into camp. Though he knew that Nightshade hadn't followed, he decided the best thing for her would be to be alone for a while. Letting out a wary glance at his apprentice, he decided to fulfill his promos and take him out to train like he said he would. "Dapplepaw!" he called.

Brackenclaw grinned playfully when he saw he follow. "Ready?" he asked with a mischievousness showing in his face. Then, he plunged through the undergrowth of bushes and shrubs until they reached a small, but tall, birch tree. Below it, there wasn't any snow to see due to the bushes and shrubs that were around it so thickly.
