Echo spotted the black mare but he focused on Sarki "I think you'd be a great leader" Echo said nuzzling her

Caspia stops with a skid, and rears up. Her smoky blue eyes sparkle, and she paws the air. Her long mane whips back, and she flicks her tail. Coming back down to earth, she walks to the pair, her head held high. This is unusual, as most strangers approach with their head low as a sign of respect, however Caspia is not like most others. She looks from one horse to the other, and snorts, flicking her fine ears and flaring her nostrils.
''Greetings, I am Caspia.'' Her voice is gentle, and calm. She looks at Echo right in the eyes, reading him, taking in every detail, as if she knows everything about him.

"Hello Caspia I am Echo" Echo said

Sarki snorted.

This time, she does slightly nod her head, and turns to the mare.
''I wish you no harm, merely rest and protection for the night while my wound heals.''
The wound looks surprisingly deep comparing to what a normal wolf should have done, and there is a steady flow of blood dripping from it, but Caspia does not appear concerned.
''I am well acquainted with the valleys, and I know much about their herd. I know what your intentions are. I can help you.'' She smiles at the pair, her eyes soft.

"you do?" Echo asked "well then we should keep moving" he said to Sarki "Sarki go tell the rest of the herd that we will be leaving soon I need to meet Warwick at the river"

"But why?" Sarki asked, but did as she was told.

Caspia snorts. She looks surprised that they should move.
''Wait. I know where they are heading. If you try and go through the pass, they are waiting for you. Not just horses, either.''
She pauses, then continues.
''A few miles off I killed a wolf. It wasn't just any wolf, he was a spy, come to track you. I can prove it.'' She throws down what looks like a bracelet made of tumble weed. it had very small stones looped onto it, like beads.
''A valley charm. Made by the river birds, taken by horses. It's designed to enhance speed, power and strength of any animal who wears it. With any attack the possessor makes, it gives the enemy a severe wound, getting slowly worse, to drain their energy.'' She glances at he shoulder quickly, and continues.
''I might be able to supply you with basic protection magic against these, using elemental charms. But I warn you not to move at all yet, however if so, do not go through the pass!''
Hey eyes meet echoes, pleading him to believe her.
