Hickorygaze lay in the big den area, he then crawled a little farther down into a huge den area, big enough for him to stand and walk around. He smiled and walked to the farthermost corner. He looked at the little claw marks there. He smiled, remember when he did that as a kit. He sat down and scratched against the wall some more, much bigger and deeper marks.

Nightshade plunged into the narrow tunnel. Her eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness of the cave, and Hickorygaze's scent grew stronger. Though Tigerstar was hiding her, she still couldn't shake off the feeling that she could still be seen. Shaking her head, she padded further until she reached a dome-like cave along with Hickorygaze in a dark corner. I wonder what he's doing.. she thought silently as she krept closer; thankful for Tigerstar's cover once she realized she'd be spotted instantly by sight if it weren't for her scent instead.

"What's wrong with blood?" Emberpaw laughed. "But, okay. Lets go clean Ashenstar den." She led the way towards he den.

"I don't know why you are so scared either.' Miststar said smiling "I think Ashenstar is just polite, as long as we don't do anything to anger her the clan will be fine."

Hickorygaze started speaking to himself, "If I can get Darkwing exiled from the clan, I can become deputy, and if i'm deputy i'll ask Ashenstar to come with me here, saying I sented a fox. Then goodbye Ashenstar and hello leadership. Then I can finish my plan off by wiping the other clans out... Yes... Hickorygaze smiled a cruel smile and got up and turned around.

Ashenstar chuckled at the energetic apprentice; he was bound to make an excellent warrior. "Have fun training," she told them, "Dapplepaw, I'm sure you will do great." In a much better mood, she left the mentor and the apprentice to their own devices.

"Blood," Vinepaw repeated with a shudder, before sprinting after Emberpaw. He began to yowl a ridiculous song about cleanup, until he crashed right into the den, slamming face-first into the inner wall. "Wow, I am a faster runner than I thought," he said amazedly as he shook his head. "Ow."

"Good advice," Olivebreeze said with a good-humored twitch of his whiskers. "It's just that a few generations ago, all the scary stories in the nursery involved ShadowClan. They say ShadowClan is the closest to the Dark Forest, but it's a good thing we have much better relations with them than we once did, because I really don't want to get on their bad side. Like, ever."

Nightshade's eyes narrowed at Hickorygaze's remark. Though he was almost seeking what she was, she didn't agree with wiping out the other clans. What's the point of wiping out the clans? Then there would be no fun in being the most feared clan in the forest if there was no clan to fear you.. she thought while padding silently to the opposite part of the cave. Though she knew he couldn't see her, she was baring her teeth at the thought of her brother being exiled. Though she knew she would have to push Darkwing out of the picture sooner or later, she felt that there could be another way of achieving her goal. Perhaps Darkwing would understand her lust, and join her cause for glory...and revenge..

[He does remind me a little of pre-treason Tigerclaw, but Ashenstar isn't Bluestar; she fights more like Scourge to be honest. Hickorygaze is in for a surprise. ^_^]

Hickorygaze's eyes pierced the room, making any small rodents in here shudder. He smiled and started padding to the exit of the cave, letting his claws come out to scrap some dirt up. He stopped at the exit and stiffened. A cold breeze washed over him. He quickly looked directly at Nightshade but didn't see her. His eyes narrowed then he left.

Lostear started wheezing, she gasped for breath for a moment but regain it shortly after. "Oh starclan, just take me now. Don't let me suffer. She half-screamed to herself. She let her eyes closed as she tried to get some rest.
