Nightshade couldn't help but feel humor rise within her at Tigerstar's remark, bt restrained herself from smirking. Her voice faltered on purpose as she lay her ears flat with pity welling in her icy eyes. "Lostear just had a hard time breathing Ashenstar...I was worried...That's all..." she trailed off as she felt her brother's warm gaze on her. Sighing, she allowed her brother's tail to brush her back lightly.

Darkwing gave Nightshade a reassuring stroke on her her back with his tail before responding for her faltering words. She darted across the ridge of a hill, the wind pulling at her fur, her ear laid flat against her head as she went. Kicking up more and more snow as she pushed herself harder. When she finally allowed herself to slow down to a stop she was on top of the hill over looking the territory. She heaved heavily as she exhaled, out of breath she sat on top of the hill and let out a light chuckle as she tried to catch her breath. "Just what I needed" she breathed, She sat and listened to the wind race across the territory,

Not much has happened, Darkwing sent a patrol with some cats and they just returned, I don't think much happened with your cats.

Lostear lay facing the wall, trying to stay calm. She knew she wasn't okay, she knew that if she didn't get the right help soon that she would pass. But she didn't want help. She wanted to be alone. She wanted someone to listen. She sighed and grabbed the stick poking at her side. The cold breeze blew through the den walls and she shivered, trying not to get more grumpy than she already was.

BlueFlame tilted her ears towards the den, a bundle of herbs in her mouth. She was always worried about the elders, but LostEar was in need of medical help. Padding into the den, she dropped the herbs on the soft moss. "LostEar..Mind If I help you?" She mewed, a soft coo rising in her throat. BlueFlame always tried to act calm for her patients, but she was worried for once. "Please?" She knew that LostEar wasn't in the greatest mood, so she acted her best. Sorting out the colorful herbs between her fluffy paws, she made sure she had the right things. Coltsfoot, and Juniper berries just in case."Any coughing, or aching?" She asked.

Seeing Darkwing come back, he bounded over to the tom.
"I'm ready to begin training for today!" he said. "What are we doing?" He needed to show the other apprentices and warriors that he was a valued member of the clan, and that his past didn't have anything to do with his loyalty.

He bounded after the moss, and when it came to a stop began to stalk it. He leaped, but overshot and landed in the river. Beating his paws, he struggled to resurface.
"Help!" he cried, before vanishing under the surface. He tried to swim, but to no avail, he couldn't find the strength to resurface.

Hickorygaze grunted a little to loud and quickly turned and padded into the snowy forest. He kept his tail and ears low, looking weird as he walked in the forest. He quickly took a sharp right and went deep into the forest. He stopped at a giant hole in the ground. He sniffed the hole a few times before he went in. He crawled into a bigger den area and sat down. This was his hiding spot from the clans. He and some other cats would meet here occasionally.

Lostear wheezed again but stopped suddenly. She lowered her ears which she rarely did but then coughed. She looked at Blueflame, her eyes filled with a sadness. "Fine," was all she said, and loudly too. She just stared at the other cat, trying to figure out the other part of what she said. Lostear just used her tail and pointed to her throat then her chest. Hoping she would get the message.

Applejaw perked his ears up when he heard a scream. He quickly ran into the camp, dropping his carp and ran back out. He looked around the river, hearing another scream he looked upstream and saw that Stonekit has fallen into the river. He yowled and leaped into the freezing river, trying to beat the slow current and reach Stonekit in time.

Ashenstar nodded as the siblings began to explain. She remembered the fox incident; Ashenstar had been a young warrior back then. Darkwing suddenly stopped speaking, and there seemed to be a twinge of concern in his eyes, and not just for Lostear. It seemed like the wild leaf-bare weather was putting the entire Clan in a foul mood. Ashenstar was determined to stop this vicious cycle. She watched as Blueflame entered Lostear's den, and the leader nodded to her respectfully.
"I see," she told the siblings. "It's healthy to be worried, and it shows that you are concerned for your Clan," she told Nightshade understandingly. "But Blueflame is a talented medicine cat. Now that she seems to know of Lostear's difficulties, our friend should start to recover."

Emberpaw giggled as Vinepaw managed to fall over. She followed him out happily. "I hate cleaning dens!" She said, "I don't know how you could like it so much. I'd rather be out hunting." She pounced on a leaf to demonstrate.

Vinepaw got to his paws, but jumped with a shriek as Emberpaw pounced on the leaf. "Hunting? Too much blood!" he squeaked fearfully, flailing his tail. "Um... the medicine cat just went into Lostear's den. Scary. Wanna clean up Ashenstar's first?"

Olivebreeze laughed, flicking his ears. "ShadowClan attacked and Ashenstar killed everyone. The usual. Honestly, I don't know why I'm so scared. She seems nice enough... well, I guess I just think there must be something under her politeness." He was kind of arguing with himself.

Nightshade sighed as her 'grief face' came into view. Sighing, she quietly asked to be dismissed before rushing out of the camp. As she traveled deeper into the territory, laughter consumed her. "Oh, the poor Lostear will soon be gone...one less mouth to feed.." she said with a smirk. Then, flicking her gaze over, she spotted Tigerstar smirking at her from the shadows. "It is time that you must know that you are close to your desire.." Tigerstar's voice seemed to ripple as he spoke and moved toward her with glowing eyes. "Once you are ready, you will bring Thunderclan and the others to their breaking point, and fear will consume them forever when they hear your name.." he purred with satisfaction rumbling in his voice as he spoke. Oh, Tigerstar....do you really think I'm that stupid? Of course your using me...but once you see that I'm not the one being manipulated, then that will be when I'm ready.. Nightshade silently remarked with a smirk creased on her face. Then, curiosity replaced in her eyes as she caught Hickorygaze's scent near by. Seeing Tigerstar beckon her, she followed him outside of her territory and near an underground cave. "Well well Hickorygaze...I wonder what you're doing down here.." she murmured to herself before glancing at Tigerstar. "How do I get in without him scenting me?" she asked while looking around for any mud. Tigerstar shook his head when he saw her looking for mud. "Your clanmates will be suspicious when they see you covered in mud...let me hide you. My shadows can consume you into darkness that cannot be penetrated unless you're physically touched." he explained. Sighing Nightshade agreed; though she didn't like the thought of it, she allowed Tigerstar to hide her along with her scent.
