How about some charity items, like on poppy day for that week, in the store there should be poppies and poppy rings. And every year there should be a charity week, where tess and nick find a way to tally up how many people brought the items, and it goes to charity.

They can't. All of the money goes to keeping CS Up and running. No $ from store, no CS.
