Damien ran his slim hands along the front of the sweater he wore, flattening the material out as he walked along. Normally his mother would drop him off at the school. But today was different, she had a harsh cold, so he'd decided to walk the fifteen minutes there. His boring, plain black school shoes kicked stray rocks and sticks along as he moved at a moderate pace on the side walk. A gentle breeze picked up in the air around him played gently with his jet-black hair as he strode along. He was in no rush at all to get to the gates of the school that now lay only minutes ahead of him. A elongated sigh parted his pale lips as he tore his olive green eyes away from the pavement and to the nearing school.

Propping up his black rimmed glasses with one slightly tanned hand, he blinked from behind the thin glass of them and frowned lightly as he walked through the gates and into Kurnai College.

Kaiyou let out a small sigh as her fathers car pulled up into the bus port, that was usually not the best place to park your car, but what the hec. She lightly waved to her father before opening the car door and climbing out, her orange eyes narrowing as she concentrated on getting out of the car with only one hand to support her as she opened the door further. She lightly walked a few steps and slammed the car door behind her. She walked onto the pavement and to near where the locker rooms were, they were still locked. She scowled grumpily and her small, narrow eyes gazed around. She snorted quietly in distaste as she saw one of the b***hy girls. Chloe Winters, the one that always shoved her slightly when walking down the halls and the one who always teased her about her missing arm.

Damn I hate her She thought angrily.
