I nodded, understand the situation though still a bit confused about how "huckleberry" was connected to Texas. I smiled as Maya dragged Lucas over to the little group, I could tell they were all good friends. "Howdy, Lucas right?" I asked sticking out my hand to shake, "My name's Amber. Your friend Zay says he knows my rodeo alias. Rocky Mountain Gunslinger ring any bells?" I wasn't sure whether he'd know of me or not but I figured I might as well ask. The question wasn't specifically for Lucas, but for the others as well. They didn't seem like country folk as much as the two boys but hey, they might surprise me. "Y'all ever rode a horse?" I asked, slightly raising my eyebrow in a questioning look.
