Kankri continued to lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling with a blank expression. Perhaps he should tell Cronus, because he was leaving for a while after all and it wouldn't be an easy trip.
He scooted himself off the big bed and headed out the door, closing it with a quiet click, and went through the hall. From then he stopped at Cronus' door, lifting his hand and knocking a couple of times. "It's me, Kankri."

Jack narrowed his eyes to be pure white slits as he stared at her for a moment. The reasoning in her words was a good one. Yet he had made a deal. For a moment, he was conflicted, until there was the final thought that settled it. As much as he hated to admit it, he was loyal to Jade and loved her.
Heaving a sigh, he relaxed slightly from his tense position and eyed her warily, his wings folding down slightly. Jack glanced at the phone in his hands before he dropped it off the roof and it landed on the grass below. He turned around and faced away, his wings spreading out to prepare for flight.
"Don't think I won't continue this." He growled as his large wings flapped, lifting him up into the air, and he began flying away.

Peregrine turned her head to watch Jack Noir fly off, hoping that he would choose correctly. She wasn't sure what his decision was -- she wasn't a mind reader, after all. But he did throw down the phone, although that could've been a distraction, and he might've had a back-up. Slowly she spread her wings out, contemplating following Jack. Deciding that he wasn't in the best of moods, the prototyped exile folded her wings gently, then sat down on the roof, her mind drifting to other things.
She hadn't seen Jade in quite a while. Where was she, anyway? Hopefully Jade was happy wherever she was... actually, Peregrine hadn't really seen Jade much, it was only part of her, kind of? It would take a long time to explain, to be honest.

It was practically perfect and was even better when his favorite bro was there - Dave Strider. He smiled widely as he walked in, glancing back at Karkat. Jack flew a good ways off before stopping, turning his head slightly to look at Peregrine. His eyes narrowed before he disappeared in a shimmer of green and reappeared down on the ground. He simply sat down in the grass, and let his thoughts flow.
One thing was certain, and it was that she wouldn't be happy. He would need to lie, because lying always helps. Should he fly back and continue his mission? Should he betray her completely and- no wait, that was a completely outrageous idea that he could never see himself doing. Unless it meant Jade's safety which was at stake here. But would he really do that?
Jack growled to himself in a mix of frustration and conflicting thoughts as he jumped up from his sitting position. He warped back to the house, avoiding Peregrine's view and spying once again.

Dave looked at the two and smiled. "I knew it was going to happen sooner or later." He laughed. A bit.

She smiled and started to walk to Shario's room. Sorrel wanted to give him a big hug!
