Okay, I talked with the fursuit thread's owner who gave me some wonderful advice. I'm going to allow fursuit talk but only if its not JUST fursuit talk. If this doesnt work out in a month or so then I'll go back and bring up the idea of merging again.

What are you favorite styles for things? Do you like a cartoon-ish fursona, and cartoon-ish art? Do you like you fursuit with big-cartoony eyes, or do you like it more realistic with realistic-eyes? Would you also prfer realistic-art then?
Do you like characters/fursona with a more 'balanced' (unnatural colors, but not in a rainbow way.), 'natural' (the natural color for the animal, or something with more natural based colors if it isn't a real animal), or just 'bright rainbow colored' color-scheme? What about fursuits?

I really like cartoon-ish like things, you could say. My fursona is a lil ball of happiness, and what better way to express that than cartoon-style things? Same goes for art omigosh. If I ever got a suit, it would probably be a combination of realistic and cartoony, as I'm really indecisive ;A;. My sona is a winged fox, and I guess you could say she's balanced. She has only two fur colors- gray and white, and the only colors basically on her are her blue yes, her golden-and-pink-collar, and her clothes, which even then are very simple. I'm a big huge fan of simple things, ans something so simple, that looks like it took hardly any effort to make the character, can be so developed and have such a big personality. In fursuits, the same goes. Although I would also like outrageous colors if they fit well together <3

I enjoy the cartoon style for my Musket Baby,not only because it allows me to draw her in more expressive ways, but also because it fits my natural drawing style. It would be a struggle to favor realism, because I wouldn't have the confidence to try and draw her realistically. On the other hand in MMORPG games like FH, I enjoy making her design look realistic, and attempting to match her character design with the markings and shades provided to me.
It depends on what im using to design her I suppose, but overall Musket looks best in a cartoon like style,(as seen in my signature) too me, sometimes realism makes her eyes seem way too tiny for my liking

When it comes to Fursuits I don't really have a preference I find some cartoonish suits to be really adorable
and same goes for more realistic fursuits however if I were to get one of my current fursona it would either
be cartoonish or semi-realistic as those are my favourite styles personally.

As for Art I think the same thing, I love anthro art the most no doubt (most of my fursona's art is Anthro)
My preference really depends on the style of art people have, I like cartoon with some realistic with others.
When it comes to design I'm a big sucker for balanced designs as you can tell by my fursona Zayne he is definitely on
the more balanced side with only a few hints of green (in his hair, his tongue & his tail) but otherwise brown & grey.

I tend to like both actually. I love realistic art, but then again, I also loveeee cartoony stuff. Fursuits on the other hand, I tend to dislike with realistic eyes. The toon-y eyes/parts on fursuits seem more natural to me. Not 100% sure why.

When it comes to color schemes, I love both realistic colors and "sparkle dogs". I TRY to add a littttle sparkle to my sonas, but it never turn out how I want ;;. It always goes to reds/browns/blacks. Fursuits color schemes, I like more bright colors. They stick out more. Don't get me wrong, realistic suit colors are nice, but again it just seems better to have bright blues or something like that.

My 'sona is cartoonish, and I love cartoonish art. But I also have an appreciation for realistic art too. It's just that my 'sona would probably look really strange realistically. My character Nate on the other hand, looks amazing realistically and toony, too.

As for fursuits, again I'd have to say it depends on the character. Rhiann would look strange as a realistic suit for sure. Semi-realistic, maybe. But she'd look really cute toony. Nate could be either, though I think when I get a fursuit of him, it's going to be toony. Because I don't know about you guys, but I think that tail would be rather hard to make realistically.

----hey everyone! I haven't posted here in so long ;v; how is everyone?
To jump in on the conversation; I tend to like a mix of both realistic and cartoon-ish. I agree with Heyvoic, realistic eyes freak me out! I don't know why though. I think realistic aspects like airbrushing on toony suits looks great though.
I'm not a fan of super crazy complex designs but to each their own. A fursona is someones artistic representation of them self so whatever they like is best. My 'sona is natural colors for example, but slightly unnatural at the same time? I plan to get her made into a suit in February 2016

Hmmmmm considering i have a few fursona's, i will answer with my main one.

He's... lazy, a lot. But he can get really excited about the things he likes, and also his friends. Preferably spends his day watching videos, playing videogames, taking naps... He is also really sassy and sarcastic, maybe even a bit mean. People sure do tend to take his jokes the wrong way, even though they were never meant like that. It gets him into trouble, and even though he acts all though about it, it makes him a bit sad. In the end, he isn't a mean guy though. He is just an introvert that can come off wrong

The inspiration for his personality was me! He is my main fursona, so he is basically me but as another animal (lizard). I don't have a name for him yet though, so if anyone knows any cool lizard names that would be amazing!
