She bit her lip, giving a rough shake of her head as she rested back down into the cool pillows, shrinking back as she shifted. The dark wolf gave a low, gritty bark, it's eyes a dim yellow as she curled up into the blankets, staring oddly up at Emily. "...Go get your brother, honey," she whispered gently, resting her head down on her paws and giving a slight flicker of the ears, her chest fur matted and missing where she had been stabbed, the sides of her ribs heavily bruised. The fae nodded, her nose quivering as she laid there. "...Quick, now."

Jax
He gulped softly, something just had happened, he had... felt something, something he had never felt before. Was it...? No, he wasn't in love, he knew that pain love caused, and he wouldn't go through it again. But still something on her soft, beautiful gaze had made Jax shiver, he could feel a warmth coming from his heart. When their hands touched, he forced himself to get out of his trance. He followed Amour, slowly but always keeping himself next to her. He was confused and cheered up at the same time. He tried to focus in the campers and the dangerous journey they would have to do in a few hours but Amour's face kept popping back into his mind, her turquoise eyes shining against his, he had to admit it, he had felt something, like a connection but it didn't have to be love... right?

Amour
Swallowing the thick lump that had formed in her throat,Amour carried on in silence. Her breath was quiet, but forceful as she tried to take her mind away from the man walking beside her. That brave,handsome,selfless ma- Stop It!! her mind screamed angrily. Desperately . You don't have the heart for this Amour! You don't have the time, the experience, You cant get in a relationship now, it's not right.Think about pain you have put this man through.The pain you've experienced in the past.You're not a housewife. You're a fighter,a traitor, and now a murderer. Her subconscious reminded quietly.Just not quietly enough to prevent her heart from shrinking. It was the truth, so she couldn't deny it, but it was still but it still hurt to think about .Shaking her head free of the depressing concept she glanced over towards Jax and realized that he was on auto pilot as well.Letting her gaze linger on him for a moment, she tilted her head "You know, you're a pretty intimidating guy...One moment you's shooting daggers in my direction and the next your rescuing me from a bunch of flea bitten pigeons."she murmured softly. Her tone was light and meant to ease the uncomfortable tension thickening the air.

Emily
Tilting her head the small girl tore her gaze away from the small flower and stared at Shay as she shifted on the bed. Eyes glittering in admiration she quietly met shays gaze and tilted her head. "What?"she asked at first though she suddenly seemed to comprehend the order "Oh, uhm okay. Wait here!"she said happily,as if she thought shay was going to get up and leave.Turning the small girl put down the flower and ran out of the cabin

Ember
Giving a low sigh Ember quietly moved the more important things out of Nore's Cabin and strapped them on the back of one of the larger shifters who had volunteered to carry things back to the cave.Turning he took the smaller vials and easily placed them in a brown satchel slinging it around his neck and arm. "Stay safe..." he murmured softly and keeled down letting his hand trail over the countless books they were leaving behind. "Ember!" the high pitched squeal demanded his attention as his head lifted and he came face to face with a stary-eyed little girl "Emily? Whats wro-" he started but the girl cut him off before he could finish."It's your wife she needs you for somthin!" the girl said simply and tilted her head grabbing his arm.Humoring her Ember quietly followed Wife huh? he asked himself softly as they approached the cabin."Alright aright wait here..."he commanded before entering "Shay? I just had a tiny child tell me my Wife wanted me-"he started with his natural simmering gaze.Though a small smirk hinted his lips."What's this about your supposed to be resting."

The wolf flattened her ears...scrunching up her nose in a soft 'umf' as the word 'wife' was once again let into the air.
"...You know...I've never really liked that child," she muttered haughtily beneath her breath, shaking her head with disapproval as she watched the corner's of Ember's mouth suggest a faint smirk...obviously finding some humor in it. Blinking, the fae pushed her nose back into the blankets.
"...What has Emily told you of the caves?"

Jax
Jax smirked and chuckled trying to hide his actual embarrassment "I've been trained for this kind of situations" he said still smiling. His heart was beating faster than usual, there was this feeling filling it, he was trying to fight against it, but you can't fight against love, you can deny it, but you'll never stop it, it'll just be a costant fight with yourself filled with lies and regret. Deep inside, Jax knew this, but his past had made his heart of steel and even though Amour had left a fissure he had plenty of armour still left.
He sighed as he saw a light at the distance, "Look" he said softly "there's an opening, we can get out through there" on that moment he realized how much he actually wanted to get out of there, the claustrophobic feeling, the damp smeel in the air, the darkness, this was one of the worst places Jax had ever faced. They soon reached the opening, it was big but quite hight up, he kneeled down and let Amour a hand "Ladies first"

Alex
She sighed relieved "Oh my God you're OK" she said with a small smile "What just happened?" she asked softly, her voice slightly shaky as she was still afraid for Red. She patted Luna softly to calm her down, "It's OK girl" she said softly. Alex had never heard about shifters that could not control their changes, she thought all of them could change as they pleased "Why did you shift like that?" she asked confused as she glanced at the horses to make sure none of them had ran off.

Bella
"You know I can't promise you that" she muttered to herself knowing that Logan couldn't hear her. Her limbs were stiff, she hadn't shifted in a while, this body felt somehow strage, she had gotten used to the felling of being a human, walking in two legs, seeing the world from different eyes. It was then when she realized, she had [b]missed it. The feeling of the soil between her claws, the strenght of her legs, the power of her fangs... She had no interest on being back early so she took her time, she had forgotten the feeling of what it was like to walk through the woods like a mere shadow. Slowly she became used to the feeling of that body again, she felt more comfortable and finally able to concentrate enough to produce a clean kill. She focused on the sounds, and smells, standing as still as she could, sniffing the scents of her preys. But there was nothing there, an isolated barren terrain that she knew well, that brought back so many memories, why she was there? That she did not know.

George Abbott
He groaned, today they had lost but he had recovered conciosness now, the attack hadn't been well organised, they would strike back and this time harder as he had a plan and that plan involved getting Amour back to work for thr Industry. [/b]

Tilting his head his face became serious. His eyes glittering in the dim lighting as he considered her question "The cave? Honestly, not much. From what ive heard passed around from her and alex its quite far and really safe. A city to be more precise..."he sighed softly and walked up to her "Why whats wrong?"he asked softly. Reaching down he fixed her matted fur and took a seat in the chair beside the bed.

Amour
"What situation? being bipolar?'she asked softly. A smile didn't even touch her lips but her eyes seemed to soften as she stared ahead.Locking her gaze on the entrance she stopped. It was sudden and unprovoked. Her body stiffened slightly and her feet planted themselves as she looked around. "I dont like this..."she murmured softly and retreated a step "I don't think we should go out that way.."she murmered softly as stepped back again. her eyes flickering over their surroundings cautiously.

She blinked, her fur cackling at his touch. Licking her chops, the young fae shook her head.
"...Ember, I'm just saying... Part of our tests revolved around the acity in the air- including those of caves. There are...certain qualities of being underground that make shifters..."
she trailed off, pursing her lip in thought. It was difficult to remember- the days of science long, long past her. All those experiments- all those slices of data- were pressed far, far back in her mind...something she just couldn't access while being in wolf form.

Jax examined the gap catiously, it did seem quite unstable but it was their only chance to get out quickly "It's either this or going back in there" he said softly, his gaze meeting hers "You choose" he might have sounded a bit harsh but his eyes were filled with kindness. He looked at the dark, damp hallway that they had come through "Do you really want to go through that again?" the question wasn't rethorical, if Amour decided not to go through the gap, he would follow her not matter what, he wouldn't leave her again.

lmao I remeber this as my first rp, now four years later I some how got back into my account and I've never internally cringed so hard at something I've done. Literally trash writing about an edgy cat what the heck was I doing.
