Just started watching the show this past week and absolutely love it, so I thought I'd drop in and say hi to everyone. c: So ... Hi!

My favorite doctor is: Ten! Though to be fair, I've only seen Ten, haha. I've heard so many fans calling him their favorite, and I already loved David Tennant from Harry Potter, so that's where I ended up starting.
My favorite companion is: Erm ... Haven't decided yet. ^^'
My favorite episode is: Also can't decide - I've liked every episode so far!
I have watched up to: Not really paying attention to episode numbers, but I started with "The Christmas Invasion" and I've been working my way from there. I'm up to "The Sontaran Stratagem," I think it's called.
I am from: The good ol' U. S. of A.

@Schuyler ~ Okay, so you've seen Season 2 of the "New Who" to the beginning of Season 4. Personally, I love Donna. One of my favorite episodes from Season 4 is "The Unicorn and the Wasp," which is the third episode after the The Sontaran Stratagem. You'll have to tell me what you think of that episode when you get to it. ;3
I need to re-watch some of 10's run again. It's been awhile since I watched most of his run. X3

@Teela ~ Oooh, you've seen most of the original series? That's awesome! Sadly, I've only been able to see a select few, but I love what I've seen so far of the older seasons. I've only seen some of the 2nd Doctor and little bit of the 4th. ^^;

"The Unicorn and the Wasp" was great! It's definitely one of my favorites from Season 4, too. As a major history buff, I especially enjoy the episodes where they go back in time. So much of the show takes place in modern-day London or the future, so it's always nice when they change things up and go the other way. Of course, it also doesn't hurt when they bring one of my favorite historical figures into the story. :3

I think I'd probably agree about Donna. Now that I've watched more of her episodes, she's my favorite companion by far!

@Schuyler ~ Ooh, awesome! I'm so happy that you liked the episode! I'm a major history buff too and that episode was one of my favorites. I especially loved the use of Agatha Christie title references in the lines of the characters. Such as N or M?, Dead Man's Folly, They Do It With Mirrors, Cat Among the Pigeons, The Body in the Library, Appointment With Death, The Moving Finger, Cards on the Table, Crooked House, Sparkling Cyanide, Death Comes As The End, and Endless Night. I know some of those are like....common expressions, but I honestly don't think that any of those were casually put into the script, I feel like they were intentionally there to make references.
Yes. I enjoy finding the references, gives me a bit of buzz and I'm just like: I see what you did there. ;3

Anyway, yes, Donna is awesome! ♥ She's so funny. I love a companion that makes things more humorous. XD

Yeah, it used to air when I was a kid.. Literally the earliest childhood memory was me watching the original Dr who. I have started watching them again now. The original daleks and cyberman are the best.

There's a Doctor who festival coming up where I am and the ticket prices are so expensive ($200 for adult and $100 for under 16s). I really want to go because its Australias first Dr who festival and Billie Piper and Peter Capiladi is going. I'm going to save up money so hopefully they will have one next year.

I'm surprised that no one is talking about the recent episodes. Rest will be in transparent and in small font.
{Every episode has been double episode so far, I'm not sure what to think about that but it's interesting. I loved Maisie Williams episodes, 'The girl who died' and 'The women who lived', those are now my favorite episodes. }
