Fadedpaw felt guilty. Falcon hadn't even killed anyone but she got exiled. She attempted to, but Fadedpaw did otherwise. He actually killed the leader of the dark forest. He trained in the dark forest to betray the Clan. It was also him who was on the other side of the battle, fighting the Clan. He stepped out from the crowd of cats underneath the high branch and confessed to almost the whole Clan, "I should be exiled as well. I deserve it for all the sick and terrible things I have done." he looked down at his paws, felling embarrassed and ashamed of himself.

Swiftstar narrowed her icy blue eyes at Fadedpaw. How come she didn't suspect him all along? He was always power hungry, rude, and a fierce fighter. One time she had even went out to train him and he knew some battle moves that she herself didn't even know. He fought way beyond his moons, but she just thought he was another fierce warrior who was loyal to her and his clanmates. She thought wrong. "Fadedpaw, what exactly did you do?" she questioned. She couldn't exile him without knowing the full story, that would be bad. Fadedpaw looked up from his paws and admitted to the Clan, "I killed Rosestar and a lot of other loyal warriors. I trained in the dark forest, only to betray you guys. I deserve whatever punishment you wish to give me, Swiftstar. Even if it is exile, I honestly don't care anymore." he looked up at his leader with teary eyes. Swiftstar felt like he was trying to make her feel bad for him, but it didn't work. She was sick and tired of all of the cats in her Clan that had betrayed her tonight, and had betrayed her behind her back without her knowing. "Leave Fadedpaw, and don't you ever set foot on my terriotory again," she ordered, staring down coldly at the apprentice. He was twelve moons, and therefore old enough to know better than to betray his Clan like that.
