has viscets affected you in any way?
Time for me to get so deep that I find oil whoops
I'm less active with Viscets than I once was due to time constraints, but they've still changed a lot about me ;w;

Okay, first up - the characters.
I'd never really //connected// to a character before Pia to be honest. I was fairly new to the adoptable community before Viscets, honestly, and spent a lot of time jumping from adopt to adopt. I spent a lot of time in equine adoptables, and had a few species of my own, but when I first saw Pia... Well, something was there, and I could feel it. So much of my character development skills came from Viscets - my first character that I really connected to lead to me revamping the personalities of all my past characters, connecting with them all, creating a character site, and actually finding peace within my characters & adoptables. Pia x Cameo was the first ship I created that I totally didn't expect, and from that came the major obsession with Viscets.

Next - my personal skills.
From Viscets, I have obviously learned a lot more about character development. But that's not it; my writing & coding have improved significantly! //like, crazzzzy improvement.
Exhibit 'A': The form for first Viscet I tried for, Pia and one of my more recent forms, for Vi. While I have a long way to go improvement wise, the improvement is still there ;w;

And finally - community.
I don't think I have to say more than this:
I love you guys.

Edit;;
On the four leg debate:

Viscets are meant to be more raptor-like, and typically stand upright on two legs. :3 However, I tend to see them as being able to do both, and they anatomically can, but being bipedal is their natural stance. ^^

Danika stands on four legs because she's a lot shorter than other viscets, and its actually more comfortable for her to walk on four legs, as when she was younger she never grew out of the habit of walking on four legs.

    they were originally going to walk on 4 legs and only run on 2 legs when sprinting
    then I made them more raptor like

    and they looked like these derpy little things

The only problem with people drawing them on all fours, is for the most part no one seems to raise their back end up higher than the shoulders. Since, y'know their "arms" are shorter than their back legs.

Aren't they just adorable when they walk on all fours tho?

(have been trying to post for like 5-6 posts now pfft)

On a technicality Viscets would actually look pretty funny on all fours (with the way their anatomy is designed as of now; aka quite a bit smaller arms in comparison to their larger hindlegs) because they're similar in structure to kangaroos and raptors, so their back ends would be jacked up rather high. Which is why I don't personally draw them on all fours. There's not a problem with that, but I tend to like anatomically correctness in the species I draw, so their body shape taken into account they're look a bit more like this;;

which doesn't look bad, but more resembles an eastern dragon rather than a raptor. c:
