I dont really read anything with link in as the main ship tbh. As he's a silent protag people tend to write his muteness badly, and if he does speak it severs that projection I put on him as a main character,
That and I find zelink a little boring, its too easy, its too perfect and I've read a million things just like it.


As for kiros question I say shoot.

I was always a fan of the LinkxDark link ship and VioxShadow ship. If you read the manga Vio and Shadow have a really interesting relationship, and I don't know, I always really liked it.

On the topic of hyrule warriors, I always love playing as Fi. Her combo attacks feel really satisfying to complete. I also love the animations they gave her ;3

they always turn it into the 'childhood friends get together, get married, have kids oohhh live happily ever after' or the 'hero gets the princess' stereotype. it's boring to me, honestly. why can't they be platonic besties?

i agree with the fanfic thing. there are very few writers that depict link in a subtle yet in-character way with him speaking. because, we all learned why link doesn't talk by watching the zelda cartoon.
