Flight awoke...My last day as a stupid med cat patient... She thought. She sputtered as she quickly yawned. She stretched, and stood up. Might as well eat... She stumbled out of his clearing, and almost immediately stepped on a thorn. Stumbling backwards, she tugged it out. Blood welled on the pawpad, but it soothed. She walked again, through the fern tunnel. As she skimmed the edges of the clearing, Burrs pulled at her, trying to have her eaten up with the gorse. She Grabbed a large Rabbit, and walked to the apprentice's den. She dropped the rabbit outside the stump. Sitting, she began to devour it swiftly. Each bite was hasty, and she left the hind quarters for any scavenging Apprentice. neh, belly full, and eyes tired, she padded into the med clearing again, and lay on her side in her nest. She fidgeted uncomfortably in the nest, suddenly feeling sick to her stomach. She lay on her back, waiting for the medicine cat to wake up, and show her herbs, or give her some task. Stoneheart peered into the clearing. She sat up a bit, and said, "What's wrong? Are you hurt?" Stoneheart shook his head, and grabbed a squirrel that lay at his paws."Here, I brought you breakfast." he said kindly. Flight rolled up, and said, "ugh, I already ate." Stoneheart came in, and stared at her. "A little squirrel never hurt anybody.-"
"No. You eat it, I'm TIRED." She said putting her black tail over her nose. The smell of flesh was wafting towards her. Stoneheart ate, and watched Flight wonderingly.
"You ok? When is he gonna let you out?"
"...Tomorrow."
"And?"
"And what?"
"Are you Okay?"
"Fine, just..."
"Fine doesn't mean you're ok."
"Just go. I'm-" She felt the world sway. She put her head further into the nest. Her stomach churning. "ugh... I'm ok. I'm... good."
"..."He eyed her suspiciously. Then he stood up, shaking his pelt off, and began grooming her burr-ridden fur. He could feel her slipping into a Spacey sleep. Her claws relaxed, her fur lay flat. All that she did was twitch her ears, or readjust her sleeping position. He could feel heat radiating from her, and knew she wasn't ok. He sat up, as he saw the med cat stretch out. He stood up, and left. He'd let him deal with his sick apprentice. There was a moan from the med cat den, and he heard a shuffle of pawsteps, and bedding being tossed. He smelled herbs. Then he heard a cat fall, and then a dragging noise. Then it was quiet.
