Same, I have a translator on my phone than shows how to speak and write those languages. Here are some of them:
'Quel re/Mara aure = Good day
Nae saian luume' = It has been too long
Aaye/Aiya = Hail
Saesa omentien = Pleasure meeting you
Mara tuile = Good morning
Mara sinye = Good evening
I do not know if these are the actual translations, but I just wanted to share this to Tolkien fans.

I have every book of tolkiens under the sun... I have his initals logo tattooed on my left forearm (very very proud of that one) and can talk anything from silmarillion to ROTK to Berin and Luthien! c:

ALSO: I am study abroad this winter break (dec-jan 2018) and will be going to New Zealand, and during my time there i will be visiting Hobbiton!!

I'm hoping to meet as dedicated of fans and to become friends becuase it is quiet frankly hard to come by tolkien fans like us anymore! Feel free to pm me or talk to me in here!!

I haven't heard much other than the rumours, but eh, my hair might have grown out enough to be usable again XD - assuming they film in NZ and not like canada or something.

Wow, it's been years since I was last on here. Hello, all!

I'd heard of the new Amazon LOTR show and I kind of have mixed thoughts on it? From what I saw, apparently they're not actually adapting any of Tolkien's original works at all, but are doing some sort of original prequel to the War of the Ring, set in Middle-earth. On the one hand, I'm pretty curious to see what they come up with. On the other hand, I have...doubts on how good the writing/plot could end up being, lol. Like, the 2001 LOTR movies are already pretty great - do we really need another spin-off of some sort? though tbh I'll probably still watch it when it first comes out, just to see what it's like, and then I'll decide on whether or not to continue.

I was reading the Silmarillion for kinda the first time recently, and it's wonderful and all, but I just started laughing when I came across the name Tùna. Just... Tùna. Of all the names the Professor could've went with, that's probably the best name ever for a "high green hill" in Aman, lol.

Welp, I've returned, after years away.

It's not at all awkward to pick up where someone else left off four years ago....I ALSO have thoughts about the new Amazon show. But mostly about Gondor. I've started following someone who's very passionate about Gondor and Boromir and it's really changed some of my opinions on the place!
