you kick the egg.A crack forms, but no open holes. What can we do to reveal more?

You stroke the egg with your finger. It picks off a bit of the egg so you can take a peak inside. Suddely, part of a very large toucan-like beak comes and starts nibbling on the egg, then spits a chip out. I lands n yor eye!Ouch!
