Brooktail closed her eyes and took a deep breath praying to starclan that all her kits made it then said softly "Yes it will still be about two moons or so" she said purring softly "Right as winter begins" she said softly gulping a little What if my kits are stillborn? What if they don't get enough food because there isn't enough prey during winter? Why if they freeze when it snows? What if they sneak out of camp and fall through the ice and drown? What if there is a attack and I can't protect them? a million worries already running through her head

The others all died from battle wounds and she was left to starve, an OwlClan patrol found her a few days later, shivering next to her oldest brother, and starved. The OwlClan patrol brought her back to the camp and brought her into the nursery. She spent the next 1/2 of a moon recovering.
