Soon enough he noticed he was in the medicine cats den. This wasn't right! He should be then one who treats cats not being the one treated. The stinging didn't get any better. The sand was almost all out but he knew some had to of been on the small cuts in his throat if it kept burning really bad. He soon heard some voices around camp so he knew he had caused some sort of commotion because of his yowling. It's not like they care anyways, why would any cat care about a cat his age who still looked like a three moon old kit? Just because he was the medicine cat apprentice doesn't mean you must praise him. He didn't mind a little hate. He soon saw Jackalhowl who was now trying to help Crowpaw out with him. He gave out another loud wail of pain before he started to cough again. This once more triggered him to cough up some blood and it landed right beside him. Now they were probably going to start panicking in what happened. What would he say? Sorry I tripped over my paws and swallowed some sand before choking on it. Crowpaw grew nervous and more panicked as more and more cats ran into the den. Scorchstar, then Mossleap and Jackalhowl? Who else? She nodded to Jackalhowl, accepting the tom's help. "I just need to get him to drink some water," she mewed, trying not to yell. "It should wash out any bits of sand so that it'll be easier to cough them up." She turned to Mossleap. "He got some sand in his mouth on accident and started choking on it." She decided to leave out the rest of the story, hoping that no one would care in the midst of the crisis. She pressed Tinypaw's jaws apart. "Squeeze some water in- quickly!" She couldn't keep the panic out of her voice now. What if Tinypaw died? It would be all her fault!

Coyoteclaw had been so engrossed by the surreptitious tom before her she had scarcely detected the other cats that had materialized someplace nearby. Flaring her nostrils fleetingly to catch the scent, she placed it instantaneously with Hawkcry’s apprentice Crowpaw, though the other cat was less perceptible. She ignored the coughing sound coming from behind the substantial tom and refocused her attention on Hawkcry. She swathed her tail elegantly around her paws, leaning into the tom ever so slightly. She let his scent surround her, consume her as he spoke. She was well aware that he was more than just a force to be reckoned with, in fact, he was possibly more fierce and determined than even Waspclaw himself, but a cat could hope. “Ah but you underestimate the claws that hold you, dear Hawkcry. Remember, I am named for the fierce predator that hunts at night, for my claws, thick as rock. Don’t worry, I will not lead you astray from your goals, but instead, I will help to reach those goals. These claws are good for more than prey hunting” she purred, flicking her tail, her eyes glittering flirtatiously. All sense of reason had been long since forgotten, for now, her loyalty would be forever shadowed by the massive tom’s presence.

"Yikes... I can't imagine what that is like." Moonpaw admitted trying to get the conversation back to a normal state. She could sense that Flarepaw was a bit uncomfortable, made obvious by the was she was sitting, just a little tense. Thats probably because you asked her half a million questions. The ivory she-cat told herself, but her thoughts were interrupted by a horrific screech that nearly made Moonpaw jump out of her skin. It sounded like it was from a cat and she immediately looked over at Flarepaw with a look that said 'What-in-StarClan's-name-is-that?'. The sound was physically painful to listen to and Moonpaw didn't even want to start to fathom why an cat would be making such a noise.
