"I'm going to need you in the days to come. I'll always need you. Whatever is ahead, I'm going to need someone to lean on, to confess everything to. What's coming next is going to be rough." the white cat whispered, the dream beginning to turn white. "I love you, goodbye." she whispered, tears running down her face.

Regaining his fake-breath, Antpaw stood tall and straight. "I have not yet caught anything, but I did find Mossheart and I tracked Dagger out here." he said, a tint of disappointment in his meow. Suddenly, his ears picked up a scuffle about a fox-length away. He dropped into a hunting crouch, slowly padding forward. As he got closer, he recognized the prey. It was a bird. Antpaw stiffened, this was the one of the hardest pieces of prey to catch. Suddenly, Antpaw sprung, catching the bird by the wing as it tried to fly off. Yes! The black apprentice snapped its neck, the bird hanging limply in his jaws. He padded back to the other cats, the bird held high in his jaws.
