She froze once again when he turned back, What was she supposed to say?! Moontail was now panicking, not showing it on her face but inside she was freaking out. But then she just gave up and slowly sunk to the ground, whining quietly with heat rising under her fur from total embarrassment

Mossheart teared up looking at the snow white warrior. "Please tell Rowanlog I will always love him, and I'll be waiting..." She smiled, forcing herself to look down at Joykit and Thunderkit. "Lionkit must follow this path as Dethshade.... Nightwing needs your guidance. Please protect my family." The ginger warrior nodded before leaving, looking at her living family sadly. I am so sorry I did this to you...

Nightwing nodded. "A fitting name. A cat like him will only ever belong in the shadows." He glared at the kit out the corner of his eye looking around with dark sharp eyes. "Where is Redpaw. That lazy apprentice has been goofing off for too long, we need to get training. I will not be here for the ceremony, and I apologize. But I'm sure you will do the right choices for my sister's kits. I will return to help bury the bodies tomorrow." With that he slipped into the darkness, slithering like a snake through shadows as he went on the look out for Redpaw.

Poppythorn smiled softly nodding. "Everyone is a little tense. It's fine, common lets get back to camp. I'm sure the ceremony will be held real soon!"

Ivykit closed his eyes looking up at the stars of silverpelt. Somewhere up there was his mother, and he was going to make her proud, and become the best warrior he could. The tiny kit smiled up at her, touching her cold fur gently before going to his sister and father to comfort them, the calico surprisingly calm."

Lionkit watched in horror as all of this played out. No one cared his mother was dead, his father wouldn't stop the name change. He would never be a warrior. The tiny kit felt his small claws dig into the dirt, but he couldn't do anything. Only crawl away to his little nest, dark and cold and reeking of illness and death. He scrunched his eyes up tight, plunging himself into dreams. Dreams where he could walk and run and jump. Dreams where he slid through darkness to a thick forest, with vines and roots and mud and fog blocking out all of the stars. And for the first time, the small rust cat felt at home, accepted and truly happy.
(( Also to clarify cuz I saw it a bit back, Ivykit is mute, not blind. I was going to have him be med app. but I already have deputy, so he will just be his usual snarky self and mute and possibly killed ovo))

(( also fun gentetics and bio fact; male calicos are EXTREMELY rare. And calicos are more prone to a lot of illnesses and difficulties, as well as being crazy. So. This family is doomed ovo.

Jaykit laughed a tiny bit when Moontail was all nervous and shaky,
not knowing what to say. Jaykit looked around the camp and spotted
fresh-kill chamber. He walked up to it and took a tiny nibble out of a squirrel.
"Mmmm its so yummy, why haven't I been eating this before" Jaykit
squeaked in delight.
