I want to join the MBTI club!
Username: Crescental
Myers Briggs Type? (put unknown if unsure): ENTJ
Other?: Recently got into this, and had no idea CS had a club for it. This needs to be revived, it looks like it's died.

Do you believe that someone's type can change? I personally believe that one's personality can change, but not majorly. So let's say someone's personality is ESFP. I think it's possible that due to things that happened in their life, their personality could change to ISFP. It mainly just depends on the conflicts that someone goes through in their life.

Do you believe that someone's type can change?
Yes, but only to an extent. I believe one or two letters can change, but not all. I see it the same as .Pastel Candy.. When I was younger, I thought I identified as an INTJ, but I hadn't done much research so I don't think I was.
This is probably going to become my new favourite thread.

Hmm very interesting. I think I agree to some extent. Personally I think a lot about our type is determined by genetics and can not change based on our experiences but I could see how under some circumstances your environment can shape your personality. Probably when your a child and developing there is more room for you oi change but once you are an adult I doubt there is much room for you to change your type drastically.

I partly agree with above post ^. Might as well go back and answer the previous questions.
Do you think MBTI is genetic?
Not really, although some aspects could be.
If you could change your type to be anything for a day what would you be?
ISFP. Agreeing with the others who answered this; would be interesting to be the opposite of myself.

.Pastel Candy. wrote:I'm not sure if I would use the word "genetic". I think we get aspects from our parents, because they raise us. Our environment effects our personality greatly, especially when you're young.
I'm in agreement with this. Environment, parents, how we are raised. A bit of genetics, too.
