I mean...why not? Genes for bad eyesight and genes for Sharingan probably wouldn't have anything to do with each other. And there's no reason why those bad eyesight genes couldn't have been passed down, since the Uchiha of like 120 years earlier would have always have had their Sharingan on when they needed to see things well.
alt. the glasses give her some sort of special power.
alt. she had some sort of childhood illness/congenital problem/etc. that resulted in poor vision, and she doesn't have enough chakra to keep her Sharingan on all the time.

If I'm honest, I love how Sarada wears glasses.
I saw it as a kind of running gag. You know, "How ironic, an Uchiha with bad eyesight."
I think kishi did good with that but thats where the main connecton to mistaking her as Karins kid comes in.
If she didn't wwear glasses, I'm sure less people would instantly go "Karin's kid" straigt away...

There's also a lot more technology in the 2nd gen so maybe Ninja are just getting more savy at fixing bad vision? Apart from sunglasses (Aburame, Ebisu) it only seems like a couple characters with glasses before shippuden ends. All I can think of is Nonō, Kabuto, Karin, Shiho and Chojuro.

There's also the possibility her bad vision came from her mothers side.

Honestly, I personally think it's cool that she wears glasses. Maybe Saradas glasses are just a fun little detail Masashi Kishimoto decided to add, but..I guess since we're talking about the Naruto series...there's probably some reason. And, has anyone noticed Mitsuki? He's said to be Orochimarus son...which made me think.. Who's his mother? I mean, who in their right mind would want to marry a creep like Orochimaru.

1. I like sasukes kid, because I've read Gaiden, but I don't like that she has glasses only because if a ninja can regrow an arm, bring people back from death and shoot fire from their hands they should have a way to fix your eye sight. But I do think its ironic, Uchiha with glasses XD.

2. I love Mitsuki!

I know right! I haven't watched the Boruto movie, or read Naruto Gaiden, but when I heard of all the children of all the paired up shinobi, I totally freaked. I mean. Ino and Sais kid is..well...don't know how to put it in words...but oh my god. Sasuke does not look like Sasuke. He totally just dropped the duckbutt style..

I loved Sasuke's spiked hair.
Although, with it relatively flat now, I kind of have a theory.

Look at this picture of his dad, compaired to Adult him:


Fugaku's hair DOES have some amount of spike-age to it, in the bottom-back.
How much you wanna bet that his hair was spiked in the Same way young Sasuke's was?
(I need an edit of that, now XD)
It's probably just some weird hair-phase thing that happens with the Uchiha.

Of course, Sasuke's hair is Probably just flattened by wearing that damn bandanna thing for so long XD

Ya, probably. But honestly, I kinda like it flat ^^ it looks a lot more...sophisticated XD.
But just to be a bit personal, everything just got a lot..awkward in Boruto, because all you favorite characters already have children and stuff, and Kakashi STILL isn't in a relationship, even though all his students are all married, but, I wish Hanare came back from that one episode :3
